Sweper Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 The Russian(?) one at 1:50 was a bit to low to be comfortable. I wonder if he was aware of how freaking low he was! Quote
2. Administrators Jabo Posted January 22, 2013 2. Administrators Posted January 22, 2013 Don't think it was Russian - AlphaJet maybe? - but yeah, way low. Jabo Quote
rox Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 The Russian(?) one at 1:50 was a bit to low to be comfortable. Ukrainian low passes are even lower Quote
T_O_A_D Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Yeh he actually burned or laid the grass down from it. If you don't have FB you won't be able to see this one. But is way to close also. Quote
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted January 22, 2013 1. DDz Quorum Posted January 22, 2013 My favorites still are 'Spitfire Low Pass' and the TapAir Airbus.... these are way too fast & loud to my taste ... Quote
1. DDz Quorum Pooka Posted January 22, 2013 1. DDz Quorum Posted January 22, 2013 The pass at 1:21 impressed me the most, I'm guessing a USMC Harrier. Am I wrong? Quote
Mayhem Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Yeah, harrier I think, looks like he's carrying some sort of center line targeting pod. Not the fastest jets, but you'd hardly know it from watching them in flight. Don't know what the general consensus is, but I like the look of them. Very futuristic. These things are bad to the bone when you observe them irl. Quote
2. Administrators Jabo Posted January 23, 2013 2. Administrators Posted January 23, 2013 We used to have those Quote
DD_Arthur Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Harrier probably the loudest! Don't think it was Russian - AlphaJet maybe? - but yeah, way low. Jabo Argentine airforce Pampas II jet trainer. View from the cockpit; http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=YFO4tjsy2G4 I've seen 'em fly lower.......but only underwater.............. Quote
Sweper Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Haha, they were running like hell. ALT ALT ALT - MAX G Quote
1. DDz Quorum Painless Posted January 23, 2013 1. DDz Quorum Posted January 23, 2013 ~S~ Chaps, Don't you just love it when pilots play !! LOL ~S~ P. Quote
Mayhem Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 HOLY **** LOL. The Alt on the hud says 10m, you know he was lower then that. Nice find Arthur probably about 3m from the bottom of the plane to the ground. Quote
2. Administrators Jabo Posted January 23, 2013 2. Administrators Posted January 23, 2013 Pampas II?, Oh, not come across one of those before, but that's it alright. Well done Arthur. On a completely unrelated note, I see that the Argentine AF have declined an invitation to attend RIAT this year...lol Jabo Quote
DD_Arthur Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Much better to have the Argies attending RIAT and having fun with their fellow aviators than doing this again; 'course I think the RAF could do the biz too if needed; A couple for Captain Jack; including outrageous B36!!!!!!!!!!!!! the late, great Ray Hannah; Quote
T_O_A_D Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Not a low pass, but probably the most affordable way any of us will fly a Jet lol http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=3bd_1356778885 Quote
1. DDz Quorum Friar Posted January 24, 2013 1. DDz Quorum Posted January 24, 2013 That is one of coolest things I have seen.............. Now then...... Remote control spitfires and 109's with cameras installed...... Quote
DD_Arthur Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 That's fuggin' brilliant Toad! It wasn't remote controlled though. Tom Cruise was flying it! Quote
