Klinger Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 ~S~ BG Every wall in that house is structural, including all the internal walls. 1 layer of close boarding horizontal, 1 layer of cardboard?, then a layer of TG&V, which continues through the floors. It makes any alterations.....intersting. I have seen similar studding with diagonal braceing in some pre-1900 British houses. Painless, I knew you'd find that pic funny. Quote

(steel jack/prop for temporary structure support). It was amusing for the other guys on site though. Watching me wimpering like a whipped dog. Yeah m8, it hurt like hell, lol. Quote

Streak Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Yep, gota watch those big hammers. Once while the BIL & I were beating a large rock into submission on Topaz Mountain with a 10lb'r. The head snapped off & shot way up into the air. We both scrambled in different directions for several seconds until we heard the THUD! which told us it had safely come back down without hitting either of us. Guest Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Thanks Guys When internet is fixed Ill be back..I have been off line since wed only in morning between 1am and 5 am does it work ..Tech coming out today again and I think its node at end of block for cable or ethernet card must be bad the first being the problem Node?? No flying since last Wednesday or anything but checking email...and thats if I role over in middle of night and see on line indicator gone off task bar, then its up to check emails today its %00 am gong back to sleep.. Guest Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 htis ip is saying in details of internet left click then support that i am leasing this dedicated ip till 8am strange stuff ....lease obtained 719pm then lease expires 913om and everytime i turn computer off i come back with same ip ..I think one of the techs downtown gave me a dedicated ip without me paying for it....
