    Try and copy the file conf.ini and the folder \Users from an installation folder where the stick works, and paste those files into the new installation folder...

    The off-center pilot position in those bombers makes them tricky to land for me too. But indeed, slow down in time, steady approach... a bomber needs more time and distance than a fighter for approach+landing ...

    I'm not seeing any FFB in there, 'Force sensing' yes, so the amount of pressure you apply controls the amount of 'deflection'... No Force Feedback...

    Got it integrated into my non-modded version, can switch between 4.08m, 4.09b1m, 4.09m.

    What version does it say it's running, in the splash screen? Still 4.08m I guess? Looks to me you are doing the right things in the correct order... The fact it still asks for the disk is normal, as you installed from the DVD with Securom on it. You will be needing a special .exe to fix that.

    I'm just gonna install it over an existing 4.08m switchable to 4.09m installation. Me thinks that should work. But, I'm currently still waiting for my Torrent to finish... for the last hour, it's been 99.9% complete... waiting for 16.384 bytes, yes BYTES!

    Wait, I can retrieve the IP of a HL server in a minute, you should be able to connect to that one w/o issues. I'll pick a 4.09m MOD friendly one... hold on

    I could setup a host, but I'd have to open my Router first... that'd be a first for me... lol

    When you're not hosting, there should be no IP address in that section at all. Just empty values, like this: remoteHost= socksHost= localHost=

    Can only think of one thing: Check conf.ini [Net] section, you're using a different (local) IP address now than before, at home. Maybe the old address is still listed somewhere in there?
