    Movember.

Haha brilliant work chaps! Mick, that's a splendid standard issue RAF tash mk1 you've got going on there! I'm also doing Movember, and will post a pic soon
  2. Hmmm niiice An American built replica 262 and a Spanish built buchon with a Daimler bolted to it... Me, a purist? Haha no. Actually I'd trade a few spitfires to ze fatherland for a chance to see these beauties over here!
  3. Wow, this is something you don't see every day! http://forums.airshows.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=48127&sid=9bb35cc3053d618ae81e08053addf14a
  4. Great to hear ROX! Nice one mate. Nothing beats the real thing eh?!
  5. Yep, green for me too apparently and 75% democrat, same as bongo.... spooky... We have the same voice, political views, both amazing pilots (ahem)... Seriously though, good luck America!
  6. Anyone see this? http://www.break.com/index/helicopter-pilots-rescue-rc-plane-from-tree-2383741
  7. Is this the ghost of Von Richthofen?
  8. Happy Birthday FT old chum! Great to fly with you again last night. Had I realised it was to be your birthday today, I would have sung to you... lol
  9. Right on. This unlucky Tr9 has gone through 3 sets of props and belly repairs in almost as many years. Sticky u/c levers etc...
  10. Ah, happy memories Fen! That was a great day. Probably his best ever display
  11. Pretty sure he paid for it. About £55k for the course if I recall. At least he's spending money on a decent pastime, I mean other than champagne and cocaine, which was his tipple back in the blur days!

  13. Gliders are awesome. fact. (Ok I am biased now...)
  14. I think you've answered your own question mate. The only way to replace an MS FFB2, is with another MS FFB2! I'd have a look on eBay, they're still about.

  17. I'm in love!!!
  18. Well that is everyones hope. It was provisionally booked for Flying Legends last year, but the project had some delays (understandable with such a complex restoration!) It's all down to the owner really, a Mr Jerry Yagen. It's destined for his fighter academy in the USA (Virginia I think...) but he is quoted as saying he'd like it to tour Europe or at least the UK on it's way over. Whether this still stands is unsure, it's been delayed already, maybe he'll just want it home!! Who knows?! Fingers crossed though!
  19. 16 years since anyone has seen/heard this. Truely magnificent!
  20. It flies!!!!! A few days ahead of schedule, take off was today at 10:40 local time. First photo has been posted on Facebook so I took a screen grab for everyone. This makes me so incredibly happy. The Mosquito is one of my all time favourites. It's been 16years since we last had an airworthy example. I do hope we get to see it in the UK before it heads to the states!!
  21. My recent posts in the big fat aeroplane video thread have obviously gone unnoticed!!
  22. Taxy time...
  23. Ooooooh, that sounds gooood! A real 'slappy-clappy' sound to it. A bit like the Flug Werk 190 replica and it's Ash radial.
  24. DROOOOOL
