Old news! You've had the thing collecting dust, for over a month on the bench. Bleh!

I was excited back then ;-)

  2. As came up on comms earlier, here's the procedure for getting out of a flat spin in a 39, works every time.
  3. that will be the one
  4. So thats what that was, i saw that at manston a couple of weeks ago! wish i could come, but i'll be working alas....... have a great time chaps! I will however make it to your B-Day Colin, looking forward to that. On an aside, saw a silver spit yesterday flying overhead, can't remember seeing it before, any ideas, all i could tell was it was silver, and a merlin......
  5. My thoughts go out to Helen. I won't forget Jim, i owe him meeting all you guys. Rest in peace friend.
  6. i've been patiently waiting for this all year, it looks fantastic, will be pre ordering for sure.
  7. 3 main advantages are horse power, thats 450 (still could do with a bit more, want the 600 HP model), turning circle, and less compaction of the ground, plus the tracks will let you go when conditions wouldn't let you in a tractor a little bit more. although you can and do have, and i've demonstrated a few this year, get tractors of that sort of power, the turning circles are crap compared, and you end up having to lift up, back up and scrub out your tracks a hell of a lot more when your doing the headlands of fields which is time consuming, plus the tractors of that size are heavy and the wheels compact the ground much more than tracks, and one of the main things i'm trying to achieve is to uncompact the ground, ready for the next crop. it has a steering wheel, which is hyper sensitive, kind of throws you when you get back into your car after driving it for 12 hours or so, and wonder for a moment why your car isn't turning.... also has a decelerator pedal rather than an accelerator, which was interesting to start with, lol.
  8. As some of you guys will know, i work on a few farms in the summer helping with the harvest normally, although this year i've been cultivating instead, my toys for the summer, red arrows about to take off, scares the shit out of people when i drive it on the roads, truth be told, scares me a bit should be getting back to normal in a few weeks now, looking forward to a rest! and lastly my friends for the summer, Alfred Hitchcocks 'The Birds' anyone.......
  9. i'm looking forward to sept 13th, http://www.heroesofstalingrad.com/2011/08/08/ro2-release-date-delayed-2-weeks-to-13-sep-2011/ :goodjob:
  10. haven't tried with win 7 yet, but if there's to much action, mine slows down sometimes on 1920*1200 capture on vista 64. Ironically, RoF captures brilliantly, cause it properly multicores.

What do we pay the license fee for?

To give the ex deputy DG a £1000,000 redundancy pay-off!

Still at least we have MotoGP still and ITV4 has brilliant Turing Car coverage.

  14. i'll be there
  15. quoted for truth, and what its been like from day 1, I have no interest in it until it improves a hell of a lot.
  16. Unfortunately i had other commitments last night, so couldn't attend, look forward to watching the vid, hope you all had fun!
  17. I would just like to add to all the above, Thank you so much Jim, for getting me involved in the DangerDogz. I have made so many good friends from this group that you've created, and like FT, never really imagined meeting up with strange blokes from the internet, but what a pleasure it has been. It was a privilege to have met you last year, and i really glad that i did. I have enjoyed the many times we've talked, and you've oft been in my thoughts other the last few months. The DangerDogz is a legacy most people wouldn't understand, but to us its amazing, a social group spanning continents, which on top of, we get to play a game which we all enjoy. But for me, i guess the best part is the social aspect. I've likened it to going down the pub with your mates and chatting, but in your own place and flying to boot. Thank you so much for all you have done, I will miss you Jim, Kev.
