They've actually said that they haven't gone out of there way to make it difficult re compatibility, its just the way that it works, meaning changing so much of the stock game code will without doubt affect/break some mods for 4.101. As its taken them a year to turn UP2.01 based on 4.09 to UP3 based on 4.101, to expect them to scrub that and go to 4.11 is unlikely to say the least. But this is all speculation at the moment by myself as to how much, I'm just drawing together all i've read on the different forums. Certainly the general noise coming out of both camps is much less hostile than in times gone by.

Yeah, it really does seem impressive, especially the AI and overheat. AI no longer be able to dive past the dive limits, only been asking for that for about 9 years!!!! Anyway, it will lead to some sort of decision to be made. Obviously no one knows how much changes to existing classfiles have been made yet, but they will not be rewriting UP3 to go over 4.11, thats for sure. UP3 may however reap some of the benefits, as its much easier to take for example the 4.11 AI code and put it into 4.10.1 than make all of the 4.10.1 mods fit 4.11, and they 'may' cherry pick the best stuff out. From a personal point of view, i'll be keeping a clean 4.101, clean 4.11 and a UP3, and probably a modded 4.11 for eye candy and sounds. If they could only all pull in the same direction, what a game!

I agree that our scaremongering press likes to dress this sort of stuff up, but as my english teacher once told me back at grammer school, if a country deserves a third rate press, that's what they'll get. However, if you've read as many cases as what i have which by no means is that extensive, the term diminished responsibility proves time after time to be a fantastic get out clause, as does the fact that time and time again, the CPS, judges and generally all involved mess up due process, due to what i personally would describe as negligence in the discharge of there duties. Still creates work for the appeal courts and keeps lawyers happy and wealthier. Jaded, not I.......

If the daily mail reported that water was H20, i'd have to check from other sources before i'd trust that info. However, there lots more info from more reliable sources for this one. And, its not quite as simple as Arthur eluded, because on appeal it seems that the murder conviction was quashed due to the fact that "the Court of Appeal ruled the trial judge had misdirected the jury on psychiatric evidence" and the charge was reduced to the lesser charge of manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility, to which the shitbag pleaded guilty. Its to easy to hunt stuff down when your in the air with externals on, kinda takes the suspense out of the mission, when someone shouts out there 4 so and so somewhere....

this works for co-ops, [Mods] ExternalViewLevel 1 ExternalViewDead 1 ExternalViewGround 1 Again, you have to have no externals set on difficulty. these settings will give you externals on the ground, and when dead, but only friendly, which i think is cool for co-ops. I think the ExternalViewDead setting doesn't work in the mds missions, from the original readme, that shipped with UP2.01,

good luck trib, halfway through the second book its a real slog, but its worth pushing through. Its a completly different read to the hobbit, which was considered more a childrens book by tolkien, although imo the best book and story of the lot.
