Its not far from me. The salvage operation is being run from Ramsgate (7 miles away), and if it comes in to there I will defiantly be going down to have a look.
de Havilland Hornet.
Best looking prop plane ever made imo.
Fastest wooden aircraft ever made, and the second quickest twin ever made after the Do335 at 472 mph (760 km/h).
4 20mm Hispano Mk V's, excellent visibility all around,
Laminar flow profile wings as in the Mustang and Tempest.
2 engines, the slimline merlin handed 130 & 131, each with 2030hp.
The pinnacle of twin engine prop plane design
How about a Swordfish? Plenty of room to take a few friends if they like standing and a picnic basket too. Short field operating capability, etc.
God no.If money were no object (and it really was no object, cause this is going to cost a bit), i'd build a deHavilland Hornet.
Best looking prop plane ever, and fantastic performance to boot.
I actually use sweetfx again now, but turn off all the crud other than the AA, as i think since they changed the colours in the patch, sweetfx with the gamma changes makes it look wrong now imo.
Arggggg, i can't fly on ATAG anymore, got perfect stats at the moment!!!
2 flights, 2 kills no deaths, no bailouts, and we know its all about the jedis stats.
8 DD's in the stats pages now, and thats not including Rox,
Custom belt loading does not work in the QMB (can't change it and make it save in the QMB either, only online or in the fmb).
Its fine in single player missions and online though, its why i don't use the QMB, I've just made a load of single player missions (which it lets you customise through the menu anyway) which work really well though.
AA is still not good, need to use a SMAA utility to improve it a bit, i linked one earlier in this thread.
Wow, was he trying to make the most ugly statue of all time?
Mind you, he's as mad as a box of frogs, so......
What do the locals think (those on two legs, not four)?
As the title says, this is an excellent online guide to all things CLOD in how to operate your planes, starting, temps to watch etc...
Very well put together, even the enigma of the 4 fuel tanks and how to shift fuel from one to another in the Bf110 explained!
A must read for those that are enjoying the new Team Fusion patch for CLOD.
