I've just read the decision on mods thread, you couldn't make this stuff up. I can only imagine their team meetings involve imbuing all of russias vodka.

Hilarious that a third party app for building missions came before the devs could write a fmb.

I'm not at the stage of selling mine, but i see no point in buying BoM until there's actually some in game content. A few more planes and another map doesn't matter much when you cant do jack with them. I laugh at the Devs claims back in Alpha how we were going to have a fantastic offline experience, there is precisely none except for crappy disjointed unlock bollocks missions billed as a campaign. BoM is just another bit of revenue off the fanbois for them, we'll see if anything actually changes (hopefully) or when this mythical fmb might drop (god only knows why its taken so long) This game desperately needs an fmb to do something with it and then the community might be able to inject some substance into the game, not that we'll be seeing co-ops anytime soon either, and yes i saw Zak's comments, but since we've supposed to be getting the fmb for as long as i can remember, i scoff at that. Its like they've almost tried too make the most stupid decisions to ruin their what could be a good game.

Just give the damn game some content. Devs are a joke, can make a good sim of flight but have no idea how to make a game. I wont be buying the sequal, havent played BoS for months, nothing to do in it thats worth while apart from scenic flights, so called campaign is worlds biggest pos.

I too am distinctly underwhelmed by the game, and whole heartedly regret buying it. I generally think, as a game its a PoS, as are the developers. Only thing that its got going for it is to watch Bearcat have another breakdown moderating the Bos forums.

The *50 nvidia cards are the worst nvidia card of a range, generally worse than the *60 & 70 and defiantly worse than the *80 of the previous generation. I would only ever consider buying a *60 or better (*60Ti's are probably best bang for buck at any given time), as the *50's are not really value for money imo, they are cheap because they are not that great.

Following on from a conversation with FT tonight, we decided that this post should be a sticky instead of hidden in a miscellaneous thread, so here it is...... Use our server, its what its there for. It runs 24/7 and is imaginatively called dangerdogz, p/w xxxxxxxxx The reason its there is so people can practise anytime they want, without the worry of human breathers ruining there practise time. Its set up so there is enemy bombing raids focussed on the Hawkinge, Lympe and Dover areas, Hawkinge, Manston and Lympe are all available to use. Most bomber raids come in at around 12-15000 ft. Manston is the safest place to start if you don't want an enemy bomb to disrupt your practise! You will cold start, just as on ATAG. Wed night on ATAG will not be the best time to be asking a hundred questions of how do i do this, this thread however is the perfect place, and our server is the perfect place to practise these things. Things you will need to know. 1) how to start your engine (ie turn the fuel on, move the throttle forward an inch or so) and how not to overheat your engine and blow the engine after 30 seconds (THIS WILL HAPPEN IF YOU DON'T OPEN THE RADIATOR AND REDUCE YOUR PROP PITCH). First thing i do upon getting in a new plane is open the radiator to 100%, before anything else, should be the first thing you do. There are two wheels on the gunsight, one is to set it to your convergence (note, this is in yards, your convergence in the ini files is in metres so you need to convert), and one is to set it for the wingspan of what you are hunting. I use the clickable cockpit mouse cursor to do this whilst the engine is warming up.
