  1. USB head set, and you can direct TS to them via TS controls
  2. I'm not sure how many of us can make this, but I'll be there. http://www.bransonairshow.com/ My wife an I are contemplating Flight Deck Club tickets and going the night before and getting a room. I know a few other air enthusiast I work with, that will be going as well.

  6. Ahh, isn't that sweet, he dolled up and laced his tank for the memorial parade. I hope he got proper permission to deface his equipment that way. I prefer looking at tanks my self with a bit of mud on them. Boy when they say love is blind, they ment it.
  7. Happy B day Vaca

  11. Just sitting here at the Mom in laws fixing her PC. full of adaware, and such, and thought I'd drop in. Starting to jones a bit for my PC/ and flying. I havent flown since before the 13th of this month, been busy Deer Hunting and vacatoining. Again Happy Holiday.
  12. I looked in my temp folder, they are not there, but I used Firefox so I'm not sure where they go. If its in my PC tell me where. If not I want them both LOL
  13. Yeah I noticed it, and was going to reply yesterday, again but the forum locked up so I forgot later. The first link you posted looks awesome, but the rest look like normal in game graphics, for COD4 do you know if the first is in game footage, or CGI?
  14. Good Post! I won't forget.
  15. No sound second one. Anyone figured out how to nick them yet?
  16. Found this over at JO site. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/27648023#27648023 http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/27648023#27650485 the last 6 minutes or so of the second one is all gun camera
  17. Hmm, looks like a good stress reliever for my Stocking this year. I got COD4 as a stocking stuffer last year, and it was a blast, for a few months, then as most FPS it got old and the guys quit playing it.
  18. What program did you find? I've used Studio 8 but I don't care for it much either, WMM sucks it won't let you keep your file in the original compression. I use Fraps, then Virtual dub and compress a 3 gig Fraps AVI file down to around 150meg and it looks good. Then if I drop it into WMM to add titles, or edit a scene, and it makes it much lower quality, even if I choose the highest settings. Studio 8 works but its very unstable on my machine and often crashes while I'm using it. So I don't anymore.
  19. Ok, I have hosted them up. Feel free to critic, and ask or tweak them, so we can make them an even more powerful tool. I made these before I could wing, and these were hastily put together, out of need. http://www.dangerdogz.com/K9Vault/p13_sectionid/3/p13_fileid/292
  20. It's the fact that you have three balls that keeps distracting them. But you will notice I only had one in the beginning,
  21. Your welcome, its funny how so many won't listen to me when I talk about me balls. hehehehe I've only been doing it since Thu July 24 2003 19:36 Enjoy your rig
  22. Back in the day when we had one flat 1/4" dot, the camera would lose track of it and your viewing experience would stutter. Even today if using the half rounded reflectors if you move too much, you can still cause it to lose track of you. With the Balls, it will not unless you get up and leave, but it will see you as soon as you get back. And it takes very little if any fiddling with a profile to make it work properly. In a bright room, you will still need to adjust filters, and or remove background reflective, and light sources. There is no getting around that even if you're using a lighted headgear. Track IR has no brains, it only reacts to what it sees, just as our eyes do if hit by a flash from the peripheral vision.
  23. Edit: till I figure out how to add the pics back in I had a Document with most of this in it, so I added it to the bottom of this Post. S! All From the original thread:Ignore it is debunk dead forgotten http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/3471-TrackIR-Cheap-Fix-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?p=3564623&viewfull=1 S! All Here ya go, this works GREAT! I have some pics of needed supplies. 3/4 inch wooden balls ( I think 1/2 or 1/4 would work too I just haven't located any yet, and this was such an improvement I had to let it out before I did any more work).99 cents at hobby store and some reflective tape. You can get it from TrackIR or a Mechanics tool dealer and who knows where else. Mine is from my SnapOn tools infrared digital tach. And some sort of glue I used my Wife's Hot glue gun. Also an old pair of glasses mine are some cheap fishing glasses that had scratched lenses, I popped them out. I only used about 5 inches of tape, also sand on side of ball flat for the glue to adhere too. Now that it's out I'm sure others will be able to improve on it and tweak it some I'm sure. Either by ball size for more precision or mounting like on hats, or using clips,Or piercings, Nose, eyebrow,Hey the tongue, there ya go never turn your head fly with mouth open and wag your tongue :mock: Here are pics. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/T_O_A_D/Track IR stuff/supplies.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/T_O_A_D/Track IR stuff/Frontflash.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/T_O_A_D/Track IR stuff/Backflash.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/T_O_A_D/Track IR stuff/Bottom_view.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/T_O_A_D/Track IR stuff/Ball_Hat.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/T_O_A_D/Track IR stuff/Ball_Mic.jpg This is what tape was for before Track Ir http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/T_O_A_D/Track IR stuff/MVC-004F.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/T_O_A_D/Track IR stuff/TIR_Tracking.jpg After freeing up my Hat button for looking I reallocated it to Zoom Views. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/T_O_A_D/Smilies/icon_arrow_up.gif For Gunsight Zoom View http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/T_O_A_D/Smilies/icon_arrow_down.gif Wide view Zoomed out http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/T_O_A_D/Smilies/icon_arrow_left.gif Shift F1 View http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/T_O_A_D/Smilies/icon_arrow_right.gif Normal Gunsight view It was only natural to leave some sort of View stuff there, after so many years of Thumb looking anyways. :wink2: And here is a couple of tracks of it being used. When viewing make sure you have manual view turned off so you see what I see.(that's the switch down position) Oh made with earlier TIR drivers on a Win 2000 machine, AMD 1400 512 pc133 ram LB was working then. Here are some of it being use in video format at Youtube. Look at this page for a cool video of it in action in Pacific Fighters. http://www.mittoni.c...ker-p-2040.html This is way easier than the Infra red LED Mod http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/T_O_A_D/Track IR stuff/tir.jpg Besides I haven't seen any instructions on it anyways. Guys post stuff but seldom give the details, I'm from Missouri the SHOW ME STATE. :mh: My mod works in the daylight and Dark too. I recorded track at 2pm with the sun shinning into the room. When you do it you will find that the TracIR stock setup on Deadzone is all you need, I have enough room to back away from sensor 5 feet and it never skips a beat.I was 2 1/2 foot from it during the track. Below is a jpeg of my head travel. While in the pit. I used a short pencil in my mouth let it stick out about 1 inch. Then let it mark on note pad. then I retraced it with a felt tip for scanning. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/T_O_A_D/Track IR stuff/Head_travel.jpg Here is my original TIR1 profile http://home.mchsi.co...ck_deadzone.rar Here is my latest profile for the latest software for TIR 3, and 4 with vector http://home.mchsi.co...with_Vector.zip Link to Natural-point's latest drivers http://www.naturalpo...nd-manuals.html Link to Natural-point's drivers for older units. http://www.naturalpo...manuals-v3.html EDIT EDIT EDIT Here is a great thread with pictures explaining the advantage of the ball I found recently.
