You sound and the machine Quazi is working on sound just like mine, I was able to get my windows disc to load though and delete, and reformat both of my partions. I then loaded windows in normally, and checked my User's and have access to it now too. So I just loaded Norton Ghost and am in the process of loading my Working OS. Today after trying to ghost it back it got ahold of my Gaming OS too, I was able to stop play, and make my date with SID, but that was it. Nothing else worked properly. Luckily I keep my Game on a seprated drive. I don't know what we got ahold of, but I bet it came from here, or some where very close to our pass time, and the pages we all frequent. So Fireman, my sugestion is if you have an old drive laying around install, un plug the one you are using then install the old one, and load windows. Once in and you have control, slave your screwed up drive, and reformat it, via drive manager in windows. Then put it back in normaly and load windows again, or leave it slaved, and partion it and put your MYDocuments on a partiona and your game installs on another, and use your old drive for your OS. One step further would be partion so you can have a dual boot, alot of times it can save your kneck, still having access to your machine when one of the OS goes bad. I'll post again once I'm ghosted and it works/or not I'll let ya know.

Yep back up what ya can, and reformat, and reload. If you can afford it go get a ghosting software Like what Norton has once its a clean install, you can back it up on your external, or on disc, and in a half hour if its not a hardware problem you can have a fresh install any time you want.

I should clarify I'm talking about Norton Ghost, not thier POS resource Hog System works, Anti Virus, and other crap they have. I've been using Avast, but I think I'llgige AVG another try, once I get control again.

I got wacked yesterday, and am still trying to fix my machine, I managed four trojans, so I decided instead of fixing them I'd ust restore, Well Windows restor errors out, I got no IE, and even My Norton Ghost disk won't load it back up, on my Front partion and Work OS. I can get my Gaming OS up and going, its fixed, but my working OS with photshop/ amd several other apps just won't load. After ghosting my Game drive to both partions, I'm finding that even trying to update to service pac 3 is a chore, I'm thinking someone has really sent out a good one this time attacking Unlce Bill. My control panel erros out on users, and Norton wont' even install, it errors out to. It like what ever has goten ahold of it has taken control of all the User functions, short the basic ones. My Print server, a Window 2000 machine is un affected, Posting with it here. [attach=#]

Howdy Guys, Greanstreaks asked for these, so I hosted them up. Farret you can download these too, and fly them even if I'm not there to host. To play them host them multiplayer Coop mode then join in/ you can even invite a friend or two, but maybe not much more than that since there are so many aircraft in the mission. I often just go into FMB and add a variant to the mission if need to practice with before a match. Not all the variants are included in these missions but they are broken up into groups to drop the load on your machine and represent some sort of realistic order to things. I have them set to ground spawn, but I host them with that toggled off so I can air spawn and get right to practicing. Enjoy and I hope they help with your shooitng skill training.

I fly them all Shadow, look me up and we can go wing in them together. Over at JO as I do my grade training I paint myself a skin for said aircraft,, so it is included in my tracks, then I also record my voice to them while flying the mission. This way no one can use my tracks as theirs, if they get ahold of them some how. I have no problem sharing my tracks to help someone, and by taking the extra steps, it insures I just don't give them a lazy mans leg up.

farret aka Garrett He is a co-worker of mine, and is enthused about aviation in several ways. I've had him with a copy of 3.0 but yesterday he joined the rest of us with a brand new 1946 disc. I've got him up to 4.08 and will later this week have him set up with the Mods. I'll end up having to turn off alot of the mods with his machine, but he will be able to fly in all versions I beleive, with the machine he has. So take good care of him, I've told him what a good group of guys you are.

First off not all machines are capable of doing this with any quality at all. Well you go into your game, and setup your Radio in Hardware setup to look like this. [attach=#] I use Press to talk that way I can hold button a second before I speak, Voice activated is a bit delayed. Then host a game, you have to do this online. No big deal, no one needs to join your game for you to play. Then open your chat box, and make it look like this, [attach=#]

I concur Vid card will be the biggest improvement in your case. More memory won't hurt, but you will only see faster load times, no eye candy.

That's super news, I've been meaning to ask, the picture is of him on your correct? I hope his job is done and doesn't have to go back, so many of them are just being recycled. I hope he returned intacked not only physicaly, but mentally aswell. My brother came back in 91 from the gulf war, and became nothing more than a burden on society. He ran off to Alaska to avoid our Parents, and anyone else that could help him. Last I heard, a few weeks ago, he's in jail up there. Edit: sorry for the gloom.

Howdy, I've had my left knee hacked on twice in my life, first time 1980 due to football, second time about 3 years ago, to fix it again, it has never been right since 1980, but I dealt with it. I was out for 3 months back then and a couple of years to get it working mostly right. Last time though they scoped it, and witin two weeks I was up and running. What the heck did they do to yours? If you get a replacement they have you on it same day, it hurts like hell I'm told but you can damage it, so they make you use it. Looking forward to see ya in the virtual sky's
