I bought it from Microsoft directly. Everything to do with it’s installation was a pain. First of all I registered for an XBox for PC account. Then I had to register with Microsoft in order to purchase it. Let’s see...what was next? Oh yeah, I then tried to download it but Microsoft could not find a device to download it to so I had to register my PC with Microsoft- yes really! Then I was able to pre-download it. Only it doesn’t, it only d/l around 900mb which I think must have been the installer before stopping. I was able to download the other 130 odd gig the following morning. To compound matters, none of the above was obvious or straight forward on the various Microsoft web pages I was required to visit. An absurd process.

I will try Friar. Fridays and Saturday evening have been decreed family lockdown fun evenings by the commander in chief atm. Are you still having trouble getting it going?

Got it going around midnight with just the very basics mapped to my MSFFB2 and graphics settings not touched at all. TrackIr worked fine as did new Nvidia drivers released today with support for this sim. Exeter to Dunkeswell via Sidmouth - a flight I’ve made many times in various light aircraft. Astonishing 😎.

After wrestling with Microsoft's way of doing things I now have it downloaded and running and it looks....astonishing! But that's it for a while as I'm sat in my car at our local casualty department whilst wifey is inside with her mum who has been knocked off her pushbike and appears to have a broken collar bone

One week to Microsoft Flight Sim2020

Are the player commands to a.i. wingmen working now? I'm pretty sure I saw an announcement by TFS a few weeks back that they'd got them working. I'll get Tobruk when it supports VR but I fired up my updated copy of Blitz this morning and as far as I can tell there is no change in the way these commands work....or rather, don't work? I was a bit amazed to find they don't seem to have done anything with the game gui. If there's one big thing that must put off new players it's this!

Wow! People are moaning 'cause the DangerDogz server is the only populated one and it's got externals on. Unbelievable....

@FT; I have no horse in this race and the CLoD server is your toy but I would have thought that the active CLoD multiplayer base is so small that; a) If you're still flying CLoD then good luck for your dedication. b) These people will have undoubtedly bought Tobruk already and be raring to go. c) Any increase in player numbers will be down to people buying the Tobruk expansion therefore they are deffo going to want to play Tobruk. d) Tonight there may only be the ATAG Tobruk server running and thats full-switch. We know there is a demand for an icons on server. Good luck from me and my tent!

Here you go Chris; As you can see, we're both in pursuit of different bandits that are going into left hand turners to evade. I've started firing so I'm blissfully unaware of anything and you are cutting the corner into yours and in another five seconds or so you would have been in firing range too. C'est la guerre!
