  1. Thats two of us. A few more? The Yak52 is available NOW for a princely $19.99 or sixteen squid, takes about ten minutes to set up the controls and is an authentic delight to fly https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/yak52/
  2. Wow! Well done Fen! Been watching your thread over at the GBS forum.
  3. You know, we could do this for Dogzford....we could....kinda....
  4. But not the FW190!
  5. Once installed, any Jeeeerman aircraft capable of carrying the SC1000 can carry a torp!
  6. It certainly helps in VR but it's a big download.
  7. Quite enjoying DCS's free for a month deal. The F16 is sublime and everything you'd expect it to be. Except fast. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Throttle seems to go to it's full travel and 'burner lights up but..... Meanwhile, at the other end of the speed-spectrum, this thing is just delightful.

  9. For GBS you won't need any of that. As long as people can spawn in they'll be to watch everything. Here's what to do; fire up your game, select quick mission, takeoff from runway. When you spawn on the tarmac go to external view and press the magic F11 key. This will give you free-roaming camera controlled by your mouse.
  10. In the Uk? It's that dog again!
  11. 1st. Lt? Commissioned at last.......
  12. Nice one Sid. I've been watching this one develop over the last few days.....
  13. Quick top ten of preferred destinations; 1 East Midlands Airport 2 Heathrow 3 Leipzig 4 Bolivia. . . . . . . 12 Antarctica
  14. Er.....don’t you two know that you can try nearly anything you want from DCS right now, for FREE for one month? Offer started yesterday and there’s a fifty per cent off sale on too👍 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4290405#post4290405
  15. Hmmm......I think the limited field of view thing is a bit of a red herring. I'm sat at my pc now with the monitor on a desk. To my right are some pens. If I pick one up the natural thing seems to be to move my head and guide my hand to it. I don't grope around for it whilst staring straight ahead. If I was sat in the cockpit of a modern military jet i think I'd be wanting to guide my banana fingers right onto the correct switch or button. Again, I don't think I'd be relying on peripheral vision to accomplish 'difficult' tasks. Chimps like us are hunters not flight animals and we've evolved two close-set optical receptors on a pivoting, swivelling mount. We're meant to use them that way. For us, peripheral vision is mostly useful for seeing things in the dark. Nice idea with the plywood btw.
  16. I think thats good news Crash. Although Dallas is obviously a bit further away from you than NY I seem to remember it's one of the BIG airfreight distribution hub's for the US. In europe Liepzig is the biggy for inbound airfreight. Your fingering device should be perfect for giving the F16 a poke
