Nice Flattop Smash! You could set a beer on that thing! Did you consider the mullet? You can have both you know.... Flattop Mullet? Or is that just too indecisive?
  3. What happens in the tunnel, stays in the tunnel.

Well there are a bunch of guys flying over to England to go to the Duxford Air show in a few days. We just flew a BoB Mission last Sunday which was a blast. And the Mods still kick ass!
  5. S! Mayhem, I think we need a DangerDogz drinking song.. I think the guys going to Duxford are working on something.
  6. I'll wait for version 2 or 3, and let everybody else work out the bugs. Like the folding wings? Not too sure about those. I'll hit the wrong switch for sure...

    Pre Radar

That first guy looks like he got pranked!
  8. Here's a new and interesting interview with DCS producer Matt Wagner on the upcoming A10C. There area also a few new screenshots.
  9. I linked my FB page with this. But even though I have deleted my status message here and also on FB it keeps restoring it here. Not sure why, but I'll turn it off and see what happens then..
  10. I thought the thermal property of it was supposed to fix that? Maybe your just allergic?
  11. That is exactly what my Dad did to make a solar water heater for our pool back in the 70's. He coiled up about 30ft of 3in pvc tubing and put in in a plywood box painted black when a plexiglass cover. That pool was never 'cold'. Never real warm either, but it definitely took the 'edge' off the water temp when it was colder.
  12. And if you have your TS3 working, we are flying tonight 7-8 EST with our favorite Village Idiot Badaim!
  13. I have the X52 Pro, but have not tried using that mouse stick for looking around. But I bet you can. The X52 is really flexible on letting you program/reassign all of it's controls.
  14. Welcome DivingWolf! Another east coaster is welcome here! Training is by request, nothing too formal. If you post a topic or ask in Teamspeak, someone will be happy to help you out with just about anything. Snack
  15. I personally think that the situational awareness that TrackIR provides is most important. Also, it frees up 4 buttons for views from any joystick. So, I would go with TrackIR and a cheap joystick if that was all that I could afford for now. And get a good stick later. That said, there are may awesome pilots who still don't use TrackIR, and use the hat on their stick. So, it's a personal decision. But I love my TrackIR!
  16. How did they cook the eggs? Sun and rock, or on the stove?
  17. A great man indeed!
  18. Cowans: World at War Auction June 22 This auction is about 10 minutes from my house. I went to this auction last year, and bought 2 flint rifles. It is just fantastic! Better than a museum because all this stuff is in one big room and you can handle all of it yourself! Prices are pretty good as well. Last year I won my bid at about 70% of the catalog estimated value. Others did much better on more expensive items. Check out the Catalog.
  19. But how long did it take you?
  20. Read the preview at SimHQ

    F-16C

I am jealous, that is very cool Trib!! So, did the guy help you figure stuff out, or do you know how to fly an F16? This Falcon Pit Trainer program helped me a lot with Faclon. Check it out: http://pittrainer.sourceforge.net/
  22. How are you trying to select them? In the Quick Mission Builder?
  23. I personally find it hard to find what you want in the object list. While this list is handy, I find that there are about 3 places to start looking for base building objects in general. Can't remember them exactly now (I should write them down, but they keep changing!) But it's like the 700s, 900s, and 1400s or whatever, I don't remember. But I find that there are 3 places or so where there are a bunch of handy objects grouped together that I use most often...
