If you want to do HDR photography I use Photomatix. Here's some examples from up at the lake.

Take a basic photography class and you'll be fine. I took one a few years back and was shooting "full switch" without those auto-aids in 2 classes.

Hmm... From what I've read, I think you must do a complete uninstall and resinstall, loosing all your settings unless you want to make a bunch of backups for your hotas, pedals, tir, keyboard, etc.. After downloading, I'm not installing. I'll wait and see if the auto updater actually is an updater..

Downloaded using the torrent from the link the posted at the top of the thread. But I can't figure out how to install? or what I actually downloaded.... Did I just re-download the entire DCS World? When I run one of the installs it says that I already have it!

Streak wanted a compare of my old card (ATI 4870x2 2gb) and new (Gigabyte nVidia GTX 660 Ti 3gb), so here it is. 3DMark had a 3rd test for DirectX11, but my old card could not run it. See Attached..

Gigabyte. I was getting black textures until I read to set these like this on the SAS forums: TexFlags.TexEnvCombine4NV=1 TexFlags.DepthClampNV=1 TexFlags.TextureShaderNV=1 They also said the highest setting for nVidia water was water=4. Thanks.

Just got my nVidia Card today. Got a GTX 660 Ti 3gb. Jabo was nice enough to go over the 3D nVidia settings for IL2. Can someone please post their OpenGL settings in their conf.ini for their nVidia card? Thanks, Snack

Not really online much OD. A while back we got some guys interested in flying a few missions, but that waned. But now that you can merge DCS A10c with BS and FC3 you might have guys toying with these different sims who may be interested in flying together.

I believe that Expert Mode simply removes extra information that a pilot would not receive in real life from your screen. Like 'Tank Killed', 'Flaps Up', things like that.
