I have always used IL2JoyControl. But was trying to use the game's joystick input sliders today and am confused as to how it works? It is currently set to 'Joystick1'. I adjusted the sliders and clicked 'Save'. I assumed it saved? So, I changed the sliders and tested them out.. Then I clicked 'Load' to get my old settings back, and nothing happened. How does this work? PS: I was editing the input while in a quick mission. After a while the game crashed. After I loaded it again I edited input from the main menu and it did load different profiles for JS1,2,3,4 it appears. Then it crashed again. Reboot time..

So that must happen to you too? You are saying that you see that in your game?

I made all of the changes you suggested and still get both jaggies and triangle clouds. The triangle clouds appear at both extreme sides only when I am zoomed out. (I am not using an FOV mods either..) I am sure that I saw this when I only had one 1920x1200 monitor as well. I have just been putting up with these for a long time... If I zoom out to IL2's wideview and watch a cloud on my left or right.. the further it moves to the edge it changes into a trangle on it's side closet to the edge it is approaching. Basically, it morphs from a puffy cloud into a geometric shape. If you turn your head, the 'edge' of the screen can be in front of your aircraft, and so you have these clouds in front of you, not just in relation to your aircraft. It's in relation to the edge of the view screen. Flyby: More Jaggies:

So far, that appears to be it. I disabled the ads in that plugin and I don't see them anymore.

I went ahead and pre-ordered one of these today.. So, I guess I'll be doing the review. I've been wanting a new joystick for a while, and have a cool idea to turn my current x52 into a helicopter collective by removing the joystick from it's base and putting it on a long tube connected to the throttle. The x52 is designed for the joystick to plug into the throttle, so I can just use the current cable to run it down the tube. I'll have to wait till April though, when the x55 is supposed to ship.

Hey guys. I am going to update my IL2 profile to fit my larger 23" touchscreen. But before started on that, I wanted to adjust the colors on the current profile and darken those wood tones to look better. All this is, is a graphics update. No changes to the profiles. So, you just dump the images into your IL2 TB profile folder and any changes to the profile that you may have made won't be affected. You could also make a copy of your profile folder and test this there if you like. This is just a graphics update. I darkened the background wood tones on ALL tabs, that's all. This download just includes all the graphic files. There are no changes to the touchbuddy profile. INSTALL: Just copy these 5 image folders into your existing 'IL2-Series-wbk 2.1' folder and overlay all of the graphics. Optionally, you could make a copy of your current IL2 profile folder and copy this over those folders so you would retain the original images. >> Get it Here! << Snacko Before <----> After

Nope. But I do play Tropico sometimes. I like some strategy games like that and WarGame. I also like building games like Cities XL; SimCity 5; Cities in Motion 2.

I finally finished building my slide away keyboard tray. The manufacturer is also working on a solution to this since they are modding the cockpit like I did to allow for a touchscreen. This is the second tray that I build. The first time I used 24 inch sliders which stuck out to the side 2 feet! Way too big. This one is nice and compact, and actually very stable. It pivots at both the support and keyboard tray. So it's quite flexible.

Last time that I used it, it worked fine. That was about a year ago. I don't think anythings changed in the joystick settings has it? But I think they did add a similar interface to adjust those settings into the game, so you don't really need IL2 Joy control as much. But I still like it better.
