Nice - love the F-100, first of the century series, I remember seeing the last F-100 in commercial use globally at RIAT back in 1997 - at the time it was in use by Tracor Flight Systems as an avionics testbed IIRC. Got a photo here somewhere....which I can't find - but here's one taken at the same show by someone else.

Hmm, you might struggle with the illuminated buttons on the bodnar - there's only a tiny voltage for each of those connectors and I found that illuminated buttons affected the voltage drop too much, but I was using latched buttons not momentary so...

are those illuminated buttons ODH? and do they latch or not?

Just Jane - the East Kirkby Lanc is getting pretty close to airworthy I think- of course in this context 'pretty close' probably means another 20 years or so.

Just got in after a fairly mammoth couple of days - An excellent day today, traffic problems and the Lanc problem notwithstanding. Some good flying, some interesting aeroplanes and the Dogz in attendance in strength! Thanks to Friar, Sid, Painless, Blubear and Fenrir as well as several friends and relations. Photos to follow! @ Arthur, yes you can downgrade (microsoft's term) win 8 to win 7, but I don't know the process I'm afraid. <br /><br />It's easy enough to switch a license key between machines if you're working with oem windows.

Mostly 'cos that one was the one I got for nothing Pook. There are some advantages to testing MS products. It's not on the spec that I wamped up for Tonar - my mistake there - My biggest problem with both the pre-built rigs is that they're both running Windows 8.1, I'd personally build a rig and buy an OEM version of Win 7 to put on it instead. I would have thought that win 7 home premium would set you back about $60 - it's £60 here and pounds seem to equal dollars when it comes to computing.
