FW190 and Buchon Early on in the show, the conditions were atrocious. First up were the Spits (4 Merlin, 2 Griffon), the Buchon and the new-build Flug Werke 190 - both sporting swastikas which provoked some comment. There were actually two FW190s at the show, but only one has a C of A These have been cropped and PhotoShopped to try and bring out some detail from the murk. I'm not even good with PS, but hopefully these are OK Jabo

Just got back after a fairly marathon weekend, and I'm pleased to report another successful DDz outing (as far as I'm aware, we're not banned from anywhere). The weather at least was dry, but lousy for photos (more later). Highlights of the show for me were the FW190, 2 Sea Furies, finding Heliopause, and Sged, Gec & Vila for providing this year's overseas contingent. Oh, and we also met GIAP who insisted on taking our photos for reasons which at present are unclear... There will be pictures soon, but I need to photoshop them to sort out the lighting a bit first (there's people pictures too - Jim) ~S~ to Friar, Painless, Sid, Knight, OT, Gec, Vila, Sged and Crash for a great weekend! Possibly the PSU as that's the first component hit by a surge. Try completely unplugging the PSU inside the machine (all connectors including mainboard and drives) and then with the mains on, briefly short out the green and one of the black wires on the mobo connector. If you hear the PSU fan start up, the problem is likely to be elsewhere (probably the mainboard), otherwise replace the PSU. Jabo

The Messerschmitt Foundation in Germany have two, but one got bent last year in a landing accident and they're not keen on sending their aircraft too far from home in any case. Of more immediate concern is the fact that all the Fighter Collection aircraft except Miss Velma are also missing. No Hellcat, Bearcat, Wildcat, Corsair, Spitty, Gladiator??? Apologies if this is a newb question, but if you're running two screens from one card you presumably lose video bandwidth to the primary display resulting in lower framerates? If this is the case, how many fps are likely to be lost? I ask because I'm interested in a similar setup myself, but I won't if I'm gonna lose a ton of frames. Jabo
