  1. Hmm, cheap. I may have to invest. Jabo
  2. I'm not at all sure that Iggy even owns a shirt, much less a comb. You need to realise m8, that not everyone looks like Bond when they put on a tux.
  3. Robotics in general aren't something I can get too excited about, but this is way frickin' cool. Jabo
  4. ~S~ m8, nice to hear from you again...Don't leave it so long next time ya hear me? Jabo
  5. Pooka, Knight & JP - I've added you all as 'prospective'. Let me know here or by PM if/when you confirm (or modify the post
  6. Exactly Enforcer, the CAA have screwed with the historic scene here in the UK on more than one occaison. For instance, ending DC-3 passenger operations at a stroke two years ago by classifying the Dak as a regular airliner, and therefore requiring operators to fit all the anti-terrorist measures required on the jets - which was financially not viable and now we have no passenger DC-3's flying in the UK. Well done indeed - tossers. Not forgetting that this year they grounded EVERY warbird in the UK until the operators provided full documented histories from point of manufacture to today. That's why so many of TFC's aircraft were languishing in the hangars over the Legends weekend. Jabo

  8. Given that I can't do anything about the building work at the RL, I intend to deal with it like a true dawg...and not worry about it. Sid, Gec & GK, I've added you all as 'prospective'. If this is incorrect, let me know and I'll fix it. If I can get enough confirmed peeps, I'll re-visit the block booking arrangements again, just to see if it's worthwhile... Any ideas for the Sunday? Rest assured Rattler, this is a completely different install to my Coop-ing one. I have no intention of pushing to add the Sea Fury to our mods as the problems I think it will cause outweigh the benefits of having the best piston-engined fighter EVER in the game. 570 km/h in level flight? Sheesh. Jabo
  10. Attendees thread is here m8. I've added you in. Jabo
  11. A bit early this, but seeing as Zooly's set the ball rolling, here's the Legends Attendees thread for FL2010... Zooly + 1
  12. Ah yes, B-25 'Grumpy'. Sold several years ago to a Yank, who left it here. It's been present at Duxford for quite a while. Sorry to see her go, but The Fighter Collection will be able to buy something shiny with the proceeds. Won't be a Lightning though as the CAA in their infinite 'wisdom' have seen fit to withdraw Stephen Grey's multi-engine type rating on the grounds of his age, and therefore the twins (like the Tgercat) are going. Unfortunately this also includes the Beaufighter. As he says "if I can't fly them, I'm not keeping them". This is INSANITY on the part of the CAA as anyone who has seen his 'Joker' display at the end of Legends will be attest. This guy can REALLY fly. Jabo
  13. No, but they won't take bookings before then. I've already tried and apart from saying "oh no, not you lot of drunken idiots again", they won't take bookings from anyone until the New Year. Given that the RL is a seriously listed building, I suspect any changes to the fabric of the place would have to be sympathetic. Jabo
  14. Cool, want one - where do I sign - That'll be the airship not a French dog(z)... Jabo

And they're back - my own fault for changing the images to jpg for ease of viewing and consequently fouling everything up. Jabo

Lol, no, but when you're thinking about the piston-engined fighter breed, the Sea Fury is definitive. Plus at 570km/h and 35m altitiude I was too busy. Incidentally, this is not a WIP mod. This is complete but unfortunately not fully compatible with the AAA UI (due to changes to the buttons file). Jabo

  19. Yay! Another convert! Glad you got it sorted m8 Jabo
  20. Or you could try the Vista drivers. My Win 7 install uses the Vista drivers for my Linksys WMP300N NIC and works perfectly. Jabo
  21. Sounds about right Perf. Looking forward to seeing how you get on
  22. "You want to run WHAT resolution?"
  23. 'S OK Rog,
  24. While you're downloading that, I'd run chkdsk from the command prompt (Start-Run-cmd or Start-Programs-Accessories-Command Prompt) to verify the drive's in working order. Type in 'chkdsk d: /f' (no quotes) where d: is the letter of the drive you're trying to install Win7 on. There are a number of free HDD checking tools floating around on the web, I'll have a search through my collection to see if I've got one for your drive. A corrupt download would be my guess though.
