  1. Who are all those people? I recognise Fruitbat, Friar and Crash but not the others. Who taught you how to resize FT? Obviously no one. Centre is Blubear and on the left is Rox. Oh, yes, just got in - laptop went U/S on Friday so no updates possible - What a bloody fantastic couple of days though - Thanks to all who made such a fantastic time possible, especially the overseas contingent for making the effort to come and visit amd the UK dogz for being just as insane as always. The planes, the beer, the premier of the DDz anthem rewritten especially by Friar after Fenrir had spent absolutely months on it, the beer, the hen party... What a blast! Oh yes, and there's some pictures as well - Will have them here shortly. Jabo
  2. Coventry - 07:30 - Final pre-flight checks prior to departure. Safe journeys chaps, see you later (today) Jabo
  3. Guys, don't forget if you're taking advantage of JP's deal with the Holiday Inn in Cambridge, you'll need to print off, fill in and take your voucher to the hotel to get the cheaper rate. See the link on the first post in this thread. ~S~ Jabo

  6. netweather.tv says Sunday will be better. I suggest we do our usual and make the call tomorrow afternoon/evening. Jabo P.S. Much less windy on Sunday too, so better for the lightweight stuff.
  7. Doesn't say much for the rest of me then. lol I'll keep an eye open for you m8. Jabo
  8. Legends is getting closer...my rented lens has turned up by courier this morning! Jabo
  9. Thanks m8, for the drill thing, I was contemplating investing in a basic Dremel sort of thing. Is this the right way to go? Jabo
  10. Ditto m8, I haven't got the legs for the mankini though. Jabo
  11. Chaps, recently I've been considering picking up the paintbrush and doing a little light kit building for the first time in years. Bearing in mind that all the stuff I had disappeared years ago, what in your opinion(s) do I need to get started/essentials? Apart from a kit that is... Oh and I want to try my hand at spraying too... Jabo
  12. Isn't it though.
  13. Sounds like you got a bad 'un there Brando old chap. Major transplant time? Jabo
  14. Nah, you're not that old Jim... I'll get my coat...
  15. PMs sent with contact number.
  16. I've only ever posted twice on the forum there, got flamed for one and ignored for the other, obviously not showing the proper deference to the old hands. Jabo
  17. Oh yes, I'd forgotten. Thanks FT. Jabo PS. On a slightly related note, just skimmed thru the keypublishing forum thread and it's nice to see all the sniping, backbiting and flaming is still in place. I swear I've never seen anywhere more full of moaning, whinging so and so's who never miss an opportunity to slag each other off - apart from ubi and 1c forums obviously.
  18. They're talking elsewhere about a 3-ship Hawker biplane display - Lets see...Nimrod, Fury...? Jabo
  19. Yep, she does have a wooden prop BA - It helps prevent shock loading the engine in just such a case as this. Jabo
  20. Damn, thats a real shame, that seafire was very nice. ~S~ to Anna though. She's done a lovely job of getting that down with minimal damage. I thought initially engine failure, but it looks like it was under power from the pics. Not hydraulics either cos she'd got the flaps down. Hmm. I assume that's the Kennet aviation example Chris? Jabo
  21. I should have added that i wholeheartedly support a one-size-fits-all approach for co-ops and dfs. Jabo
  22. It's odd why there are some people struggling to get it working period and others where it doesn't seem to have problems. FWIW, I don't switch my install between up3 and 4.10.1 using jsgme, I've gone down the route of separate installs for each. Seems happier that way rather than using different .exes. Personally I like up3 and the things it offers and I believe we should continue to support both up3 and 4.10.1 while the devs get the bugs out. If the community doesn't support the devs, enhancements to the game will dry up. Bear in mind we are getting all this though the blood, sweat and tears of a fairly small group of talented individuals, and we're getting it for free! Jabo
  23. Team Hinton hard at work on 'February' (The other Mustang!) Away from the Mustangs Buchon landing after trip from Germany Bearcat, Hawk and baby Spit have all been out and about German-owned Corsair also on the way... It's starting to get busy! Jabo All photos from the TFC website.
  24. Happy Canada Day...er...Canada!! Jabo
  25. Nice to see you keeping up the literary standards around here Rog. After all, none of the teachers are at work... Jabo
