  1. Wow. Got halfway through so far. How matter of fact, "Almost died today about twelve times, had fried chicken for dinner" LOL.
  2. Now that's my kind of cookin'.
  3. Kimosabi, your gonna fit right in here.
  4. That would never happen in the US. First all the passengers would have a fit that no work was getting done, then security would come and drag them all off to jail. We've forgotten how to have fun
  5. Yes I will, but I think I need to change the above post, because I don't think that it's clear that it's a method of making the new icon settings show up by default I'm thinking of 2k icons, name for friendly, type for enemy
  6. This comes courtesy of Extreme One, with this little tip you can change the default icon settings of your game; To clarify I mean that this trick will load your personal settings automatically when you start the game EDIT: The top part is a Quote from Tully's dotrange tutorial, it's the bottom part that is of most interest here. (the part in red after Tully's sig)
  7. WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO! That will be awesome, now that we have a much more complete planeset, and more than two ships to sink, and more maps, and..........well, everything.
  8. Isn't that what I said? Oh, wait I forgot my manners, allow me to translate that into Canadian; That there UP1.9, They're callin' it 2.0 now, eh? The preceding was a joke, there were no Canadians harmed in the making of this joke.
  9. UP 2.0 is the new name for the next patch, that's all. This is why I've been careful to say at every opportunity that the name was still up in the air. There are a lot of bug fixes and such, so there is a lot of testing going on. They just don't want to release it until it's right.
  10. It's funny, maybe it's me, but I just don't get cheating. Not in a video game. Perhaps in a high stakes poker game, cheating makes sense, at least there is something of actual value to be gained. But a freaking VIDEO GAME? I never had a high opinion of human nature, but stroking your own ego with unearned trophies is just........stupid. OH, now I get it. Maybe you guys should put CRT=2 on, Dave, there is (sadly) an endless supply of stupid people out there. I'll visit either way though.
  11. Squawk, that is impressive. I can't imagine working under those conditions. If this global warming keeps up, I'm gonna have to get used to the thought.
  12. It's 1 degree here in Connecticut. This is the place of which Mark Twain said "If you don't like the weather, wait a Minute it'll change". It hasn't changed a bit in 150 years, the weather report is just an educated guess, at best.
  13. LOL, I thought that might be what you meant, but you know I had to run to the defense of a fellow Redneck right wing gun totin' Fascist (well OK, no guns anymore, but you know what I mean) It's just part of the 'Code'.
  14. The problem universally is government bureaucracy, any government that has been established for any length of time will be strangled by it eventually, and the worst kind is the entitlement system. I'm greatly amused that the original person that the article was written about thinks the whole situation is ridiculous as the rest of us do. That's a sentiment that a lot of people that are stuck in the "system" here in the States have; most can't get out of it no matter how hard they try, so they give up, and become slaves to the bureaucracy, servicing it's ever increasing need for validation (and taxpayer funding) No Roger, this isn't a British problem, and I don't think JP meant to imply that, it's a western civilisation problem, and most of us are stuck in it. As for the Muslim thing, I noticed that too. I wonder if the article is slanted that way or if the numbers just worked out that way. Edit: I just re-read your post Rog, the only connection to Islam I see anywhere here is within the article, I believe any negative sentiment is about what I posted above, not Muslims.
  15. I've created a monster. :diablo_ani_fire:
  16. Yea and amen. I can't wait until there is some semblance of order in Hyperlobby. It's coming soon. I appreciate how tough this is for you as an Oleg purist, Dave, and I salute your tolerance and grace.
  17. Indeed. And even live once in a while.
  18. Ah, the joys of a life of danger. It's amazing how inventive adrenaline junkies can be. That was impressive though.
  19. Just don't keep your camera outside too long! (Or yourself for that matter)
  20. Very impressive. Asas, your Uncle as we would say in the US "died with his boots on". To die doing what you love is considered a privilege amongst the few men who choose danger as their way of life. Fortunately the rest of us have the refly button.
  21. LOL! See....Jedi doesn't really know everything, he just knows where everything is.
  22. Imagine the person who buys the car at auction after. "HMMM, this car runs out of gas so quickly.........I think I'll drop the tank and have a look."
  23. Wow this global warming thing is really effecting you guys, another 100years and you'll be having -20 winters.
