  1. All kidding aside, this thing could be much more than a toy. Ask Tribunus how valuable this thing could be for clearing buildings. It could quite literally be a life saver. I'll bet in the near future you will see soldiers and cops flying these things down hallways, instead of putting their own asses out there.
  2. My Lawyer advises me to refrain from commenting on the aforementioned alleged incident as there are still some legal issues to sort out.
  3. The Color definitely came out way "thinner" than I wanted, and it's a pretty basic skin, as I just wanted to test out some of the stuff I have been learning. I've made a "cleaned up" version of the IAR80 void to use with the SU26 to make it look more like a sport plane, and I'll be making some more skins with that to work up my skills.
  4. Now that's a dog to be proud of.
  5. I finally got off my lazy ass (or on it, as it were) and learned how to make a skin. I can't believe how bloody easy it is to get started! I decided to star with the Su26 to start as it has no skins and the IAR skin just doesn't look too sportplane like. What you guys think?
  6. Good laugh! TY.
  7. Welcome to the pound. Have a sheep and a smile....
  8. Well, Duct tape is the fabric of modern civilization. We just weren't civilized until it came along.

Ah, the Fat Girl sings. I think the clouds are overmodeled though.
  10. I'm still looking at the X65, I'm not so sure that it will suck yet, and I like all the buttons, and the split throttle. I'd love to be able to actually try it though.......
  11. Wow, great story. That looks like a great subject for a mini- campaign, or at least a series of missions. I'm going to file that one away for the future. I'm really impressed that the Japanese built a memorial to his bravery. That really says something.
  12. Holy Shit. Discipline, trust, and dedication personified.

  14. Yeah, I have to admit that last guy was kinda cute, not my type mind you, but to each his own.......
  15. Seriously though, that was awesome, really well done film. Thanks for posting that, my life is richer for it.
  16. I'd love to comment.
  17. Sure, assuming I can shake you off my tail!
  18. You know you've gotten to much snow when: You need a shovel to get to your snow blower.
  19. ASAS, it appears that you might have mistaken my reply to JP as a reply to you. I can't imagine how that might have sounded, and then of course there was my very harsh reply to you in turn. That's unfortunate, because I actually like you, mate. Please accept my apologies, I'm really sorry. Any comments I made in this thread were out of profound sadness over what I perceive to be the impending doom of my own country, which I dearly love. This group is bound to be made up largely of Patriots, which is also bound to make discussion of politics problematic. I don't think impossible, but problematic.
  20. Asas, where did you get the idea that I called you an idiot rock thrower? Do you guys even bother to read my posts? I understand that English isn't every ones first language here but really, at least make an attempt. If I had any point to make it's a lament of the decline of my own country. Not more than a handfull here understands squat about how I think. I won't bother to try to engage in adult conversation around here anymore.
  21. It boils just under the surface and you never know where it might brew up.
  22. Easy there, Wyatt. I appreciate the support mate, but I wasn't really arguing for anyone to like Americans, our country is pretty screwed up, and while past generations of hardy souls have hard won the position the the US has in the world, the present has not. The average American has little interest in the heritage of liberty our founding fathers tried their best to leave us, and it shows. The US is now now weighed down and floundering under a socialist bureaucracy and the apathetic greed of her people, and swamped with debt. Our new Marxist leader is just the rock on which she may finally be wrecked, and the world will cheer. Then they will tremble. Don't get me wrong, I love my country, but I don't really care about a few idiots trowing rocks from the outside. It's the rot within that keeps me awake at night.
  23. I doubt that you Europeans would understand my sentiment, but with the US, it's a whole package. The bad comes with the good, and your hero Obama seeks to destroy all of it. I pray he does not succeed, but fear he will.
