An easy settings transition is to create a pilot with the same name and copy the old one from your "Users" file into it.

When I'm posting a reply and I hit the ( ' ) key, it drops out to a window on the bottom of the screen with some options for stuff and won't actually type the character. Can I have some assistance in changing disabling this feature, please?

If you rightclick the profiler icon, Painless, you can access the control panel. If you futz around a bit, it is possible to tighten up the stick somewhat.
