Pershing/Super Pershing/Centurion vs Stalin Tank et al

was watching Tank Overhaul on History the other day and they were showing these guys on the Isle of Wight who are rebuilding a Brit Comet tank. They showed some footage of it in battle at end of WW2...and commented about what a great tank it was. Then they showed the post-war Russian parade in Berlin where the Ruskies paraded around the huge (newer) Stalin tank. -

funny point Carl...I'll have to ask about the german planes... these is what he has sent so far...will have to harrass him for the rest. my fave: the Air Cda pilot is second from the left...this is taken from a cemetery as you can see.

Met a Air Canada pilot today and we got chatting about airlines, etc Conversation turned to Malta, where he often goes to visit family. Turns out he is part of an association that is recovering Spits and Hurries from the waters around Malta.

Oh man BG...you just never stop. You should make the cab your Pit set up for flying... it's metal...enclosed...has levers and so on.
