Correct mostly Rattler. Douglas B-18 Bolo ..... unless you're thinking of the the Martin B-10 in which case you'd be wrong. The Bolo replaced the B-10 and was based on the DC-2 transport.

Well I'll hold off on telling you then. It's not often I get to stump you, even for a minute...so I'm enjoying it. Yeah, the second one is a Mossie (easy) but it's still a good picture. Very organic looking I think.

    Heh heh...Scooby Death
  9. ROTFLMAO. That's really good
  10. Did you notice that the front wheels on the vehicles seem to turn in a steering arc? If that's modelled, I'll be blown away. Horses and soldiers.
  11. Another update. More pics...........
  12. The Flying Tigers by John Toland This is a short book and outlines Chennault and his Tigers in China. It is really brief but it is a good compliment to "God is my Co-pilot" by Robert Scott. There were some anomalies with the book such as the claim that the Oscar was an improvement over the original fixed-undercarraige Zero and then there was Scott's battle with some twin engined Messerschmit 109s. But it does provide a nice overview of Chennaults campaign against the Japanese. The copy I have up also has photographs, some of which were very good. Worth picking up if you see a copy lying around somewhere

    too cool

    Very cool mate.
  14. War in a Stringbag by Charles Lamb A great compliment to the previous Swordfish book, this FAA pilot was on board the Courageous when she was torpedoed and this book follows him through the whole war including the Taranto raid and Greece. In addition to anti-sub patrols, mine-laying, bombing and torpedo sorties, he also did special-ops in the Swordfish such as dropping and picking up spies and other covert operatives. On one of these missions, he was captured by the Vichy-French after crash-landing in Algiers. The story of his internment was an eye-opener. The book also explains the origin of the nickname for this beloved bi-plane (which I never knew) Recommended in spades. :thumbright:
  15. Indeed. There's some imagery I didn't need. So let me dilute it a bit with some more screenies. I like the damage graphics on this DH4.
  16. And what skins!!!
  17. New updates. Here's another taste......
  18. That'd be my problem too
  19. You didn't have to put it down with an axe. Geez!! A simple smothering would have done.
  20. Yeah I love the Shining one. There is another done by the same bloke on Sleepless in Seattle as a thriller. Very clever, both of them.
  21. I was going to ask the same question........ And yeah, look at the detail on that Albatross.
  22. Update. Here are some recent W.I.P.s
