  1. I felt sort of left out, then realized this all started before I came back to the Dogz. I've added my name to the list and await any instructions. Thanks Fen, now to practice with the split tailed devil.
  2. As best I can remember the first plane I flew in was a Piper Cub at the local airport Next came my helicopter years, first was the H-34, Sea Horse, in VietNam, CH-46, Sea Knight. The CH-53 Sea StallionThe UH-1 HueyOne ride in the back of a C-130That was the end of my military aircraft. While still in the Marines, I joined a local parachute club and made two successful descents before my mother put an end to that. Exited from a Cessna 182.Years later a local businessman had a Stearman and offered a chance to sit in the empty seat. No acrobatics but a lot of fun.About 9 months ago we had lot of damage from a windstorm, a Derecho, a friend who's brother in law took me up to see the damage to some land and spring pond. A Husky A-1C, this was as much fun as the Stearman. Its a challenge just getting into, crawl over the front pilots seat, carefull for the stick between your legs. Two sets of controls.
  3. The B-17 crash I spoke of this morning that occured last year in Conn where 7 of 13 were killed. The prelim investigation is coming up lack of proper maintenance. I was in Texas in March and saw this AC at a small airfield. Visited with pilot and some members of crew. There were other AC, B-25, P-51 and Huey UH-1. Took a pic Search Wiki or other sites, lots of them.

  5. Great to hear you again too JP, my third session, I have the sense everything froze and I'm back to where I left off 4 or 5 years ago. It was sad to here those two young laddies (BG) on your knee are now in there twenties, but thats how life treats old folks. Happy there doing well. Looking forward to next Sunday. Oh yes, maybe your could make a law again where the Montreal Canadiens get the first pick from french skaters.... please
  6. Ten years old, how time flys. Are the trout still biting, or has children put your rod in the closet. I flew with the Dogz for the first time in about 5 years. They all sound the same, but fly a lot better. Come back soon, we'll take a side channel on TS and talk which fly is best.
  7. I'm guessing I need to create a Mods folder or JSGME folder, what is the proper procedure to set this up in the game? Directions please.
  8. The last time I saw BG, my wife bought a picture from a garage/tag sale with Jims wife when we drove to his home in Canada.. Its hanging on the wall here and I think of BG eveytime I look at it, but I couldn"t tell you without looking what the picture is of. Flower I think.
  9. I'm in the process of setting '46 up, with FTs help I should be ready very soon. When I left the Dogz, CLOD was new and I had that loaded and flew a few missions with you. . I didn't enjoy it much, mostly because It wasn't as easy as '46. Still have this available. My selections would be... IL-2 46 GBS CLOD Days .... Sun..Tues..Thurs
