English as far back as we can trace. But the family rumour is we are originally German, hence the name Enkel, but so far no trace over a 100 years back. Found references to our family having been wealthy in the past, owning a large parcel of land in London which is why there is a street and pub named after us, just off Seven Sister road. The Enkel arms, used to have our coat of arms, stands on the corner of Seven Sisters Road and Enkel St. Had a pint there many years ago . One curious history bit, there was an Enkel with my first name back in the 1700s who was a cutler in London. At the time this was discovered I used to make surgical instruments, which of course were originally made by cutlers!! We got about a bit, there is an Enkel Fireman in Canada, Enkels owned a shop there, and we put our stamp on Australia too something to do with pineapples IIRC.

Just copy your existing install to a new folder, then install the mod into that. Yes it needs to be patched to 4.08M.

I finished Stalker twice, got the wish maker ending first. Second time around I found the secret lab, and the level(s) that follow. Awesome game. Far Cry...well that is awesome too, as is F.E.A.R. Call of Duty...yawn...1 was OK but 2 is just 1 with better graphics. Deus Ex was great, V2 never tried as it got panned. System shock was excellent, a good thinking game too.

I've read of others having issues. Been a little smug because I have an nVidia card in my machine. Sadly two of the kids PCs are equipped with a 9800 Pro and a 9800XT. After the Cat 7.8 all newer drivers Disable Directx on these older cards!!! Took a lot of work to prove it to my self, doing the driver install/remove/clean dance on two PCs, and patience from the kids who couldn't play the Sims 2 or Command and Conquer games. What kind of company produces shite like that, such a fundamental bloody failure clearly showing lack of regard for 'legacy customers'. Disabling Directx for goodness sake, what the fuck are their quality assurance team doing?! They work fine on a 1950 Pro though, but that isn't the point. The AMD/ATI partnership seems to have lost the customer focus.
