Start by providing us with a Dxdiag: Start > Run Type in: dxdiag then hit enter Let it complete all tests (you can tell it not to do the WHQL bit) then.. Click 'Save All Information' - this defaults to saving a file called dxdiag.txt on your desktop, open that in notepad and select all and copy, then post that data in a post here. I suspect that you have been walloped with an known Intel grahics driver issue, but need to see the dxdiag results first.

You don't need HyperLobby to fly online, just get the IP address from the server the others are on from TS, then input it in the multiplay section in game.

I'm seriously tempted to put an order in for one, now I'm about to start earning again. Think I'll get my brother-in-law in NM to buy it Stateside and send it over as a used item, save getting raped on the price here in Europe like we normally do. But then I'd like to upgrade my CPU to a Phenom too, and my RAM is a tad slow, and Windows Experience says my disks are slow too... hmmm... £££££££ and the moths are starting to stir in my wallet -

The latter of the two links is what you need (and retrofit it after you get system upa nd running so no 3-5 day wait). Re: PWR fan connection, this is used by some PSUs that have a two core cable for fan speed control, I would not use this to power a fan personally, if your PSU does not have a blue and black lead terminating in a 3 pin plug then ignore it.

+1 on the backward compatibility. I ran by 2.0 card in a 1.0 slot no problem, indeed I didn't notice any difference in performance when putting it in a 2.0 slot board..

Your system has an Intel chipset, and Intel on board graphics? This may be curable by changing your graphics driver, by downloading from Intel.com. Have you changed drivers recently, or did windows update do it for you?

Have you done the noDVD crack, or applied the AAA mods?

Tonar, you don't need a Codec unless it is the 2nd IL2 disk with the movies on it. The IL2 setup DVD is a data disk and should be readable by explorer. You sure you got the right disk? Can you right click it and select 'explore'?

Also from the alternate boot, via explorer select the disk that copy of windows boots from, right click > properties > tools > Error Checking and run Check Disk from there.

Yes there is some stage management going on. Re when is it on? I confess I'm not sure, I watch the show after the event (it's Saturday night my wife just yelled) but you can get more detail here: http://talent.itv.com/ And you may even get the ITV Player to work for you, it may not be locked down like the BBC one is.

System managed is OK, if you want to go manual then the rule of thumb is 1.5 times the RAM you have. You may get a warning about crash dumps when you move it, ignore it unless you are into debugging the Windows Kernel big time
