Thanks Dave, but I think I need an invite for the Discord?

I am now (finally) fully retired here in Spain with tons of spare time I want to join up with an active IL-2 GB / IL-2 Korea / DCS WWII / or even an IL-2 CLoD squadron. Own a ton if Great Battles content, Korea Founders Edition, DCS Bf-109, Fw-190 A-8, Fw-190 D9, Spitfire, P-51, P-47, Mosquito, and F4-U and WWII Assets Pak, Clod Blitz w/ Tobruk. Are you guys still active?

Enigma had just asked about your server on the CLoD Discord, I pointed him here... "Does anyone know what the rules are for DangerDogz BoB All Welcome that dictate whether you can see someone on the map or not"

Remove anything\everything to do with WMR, Quest doesn't use it. Can't be any help beyond that, I went from a G2 to a Varjo Aero, will say DCS runs much better in OpenXR (the "MT" exe) than OpenVR..

Been away awhile, stopped in to say Hello and let you all know of the ATAG event next week - https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/86804-adlertag-4-event-sat-jan-6-2024-2000-gmt-on-atag-server/ Cheers! Gary "Patricks"

In VR I can actually see/read my gauges quite well, in 2D some are quite hard to see even with TIR5. Its a fantastic aid for 2D, now up to version .63, just hope the latest update(s) didn't mess anything up..

Good to hear they are progressing, and there is always Cliffs of Dover for WWII and Rise of Flight (free base with a few planes now!) for WWI..
  8. Patricks
    Very cool!
  9. Patricks
    Absolutely, thank you!
  10. Patricks
Is it the same info as is on the "Photo" replacement?
  11. Patricks
Thought I already replied from my phone... anyway, no prob @WWCraven! I was actually on the WingWalkers WWI server yesterday, like it a lot for practice, especially in new planes. Flew a Handley-P for the 1st time, almost made it to the target before 4 nasty AI blokes tore me to shreds..

Thank you, but isn't this a UK (UTC +1) based server? And yes, i'm on the correct side of the Atlantic..
  13. Patricks
May I ask what time does it start?
  14. Patricks
Are you still starting ~20:00 UTC (i'm UTC +2 so thats a bit too late for me)?
  15. Patricks
I'm apparently in the minority on DCS that love this feature, really looking forward to the IL-2 Implementation though not quite as slick. The "pitch trim" curve is a great addition also, especially for the WWI triplanes as Jason shows in his video..

New version .54 out, Blorg fixed the Mossie Boost, added some temp gauges, etc..
  17. Patricks
Ahhh, ok. He tossed in 4 "generic" WWII gauges as placeholders. I've asked him to see if he can get them to "save" as you can't resize or move them around the way its set up. that and the RPM gauge is fairly useless as the gradations are much too high. What he/we need is a 3D artist to do the WWI gauges as they are quite lovely, would look and function correctly.. he is too busy with the WWII dials and life in general at this point..
  18. Patricks
I believe Blorg has included internal hooks to the WWI aircraft gauges but has not done any gauges yet (not sure if he ever will). The Boost gauges in the Mossie don't work, he states he may fix them later today...
  19. Patricks
Sheesh, can you set the wing guns to converge with the MG and cannons? What a plane shredder that would be!
  20. Patricks
But that looks like a channel on the Wing Walkers Server, no?
  21. Patricks
These servers still up? You guys get around, came across this when looking at the Wing Walkers site..
  22. Patricks
BLorg (IL-2 Dials author) has a Discord set up to answer any questions - https://discord.gg/eXS7sM4y
  23. Patricks
All set, Icon Mod 1.00 has been applied.
  24. Patricks
IIRC Mods must be enabled and you guys allow for labels? All I would need is a PWord I believe, i'll pop back into the P38 to try and squeeze some memory out of these old brain cells...
  25. Patricks
Thank you @Sid, 20:00 this Sunday, got it. Any idea what plane/map/etc?
