Just wanted to suggest another excellent podcast from the chaps over at "We Have Ways of Making You Talk" https://wehavewayspod.com/ep-355-the-secret-horsepower-race/ You don't have to be a piston head to enjoy this one, very interesting discussion on the approach that both sides took to engine developments during the war.

As you were - found the cause - I had forgotten that I had an extension lead for the speakers and that had become slightly disconnected.

Looks like a challenge has been laid down there chaps. I will get map building and see if we can not replicate a similar tunnel (with open hangers). I will make them non-destructible (or indestructible - take your pick ) Coming to a Dogfight server near you soon!

Fen, May not be able to make it for mission tomorrow, I have a Physio Therapy appoint for my sore neck @ my 11:00am your 7:00pm. No idea how long it will take, but I will do my best to attend before the cutoff time. If I don't give them hell fellows!

I am listening on my morning "power walks". @BluBear - I too have scrolled back in time and working my way through. The readings of the book about the Spitfire pilot in Malta are also very enjoyable. In the last episode I listened to the planes were getting ready to leave the Carrier. They had their engines started BELOW DECKS and were pushed back on to the left to be taken up to the flight deck for a quick despatch. Unfortunately, someone did not give enough clearance to the blades.....

No mission tonight boys, the next is scheduled for this coming Tuesday the 26th. WARNING: as a result of the combination of the redux of the campaign and the reduced attendance in the past months I will be coalescing the P-38 squadrons; either the 402nd pilots will be transferred into the 485th or vice-versa. This will make admin easier for me and I’m hoping reduce the likelihood of issues in the future. The decision as to which way the transfer occurs will be based on a coin toss. Anyone one who has an issue on this matter is invited to write it down on a piece of paper, carefully roll said piece of paper into a neat cylinder, secure with a suitable fastening then keep upon their person in the same manner as a suppository.
