So, last Thursday, I had my processor running a cool 5Ghz, and was DCS-ing nicely on it. After a long session I took a look at the HWMonitor numbers. One of them ('Max' of the one labeled Package under CPU) showed up in red, stating 100C. Oops. Today I decided to do some maintenance on the PC, like clearing out some dust. And I found this:
