Can not help much on the pc front other than what you have been advised but for the pidgeon.....if you can catch it and read the ring you should be able to identify the owner from the National Assoc of Racing Pidgeons. Back at the Priory we keep a few for when the internet goes down. We strap the order to the legs and off they go.
