A quieter night last night, with just Squawk, Friar and me available for duty. However, a surprising amount of progress was made with this small but powerful taskforce: A number of enemy pilots were captured and interrogated, revealing dastardly plans and adding valuable credits to the pot. The Insurgent group discovered on the mainland North of Moradi was successfully cleared out. And, I'm happy to report that Qeshm Island is now in our hands! Flying from Khasab and bolstered by a couple of AI SEAD groups (that were largely used as bait) I managed to eventually eliminate the SA11 sites on the Island and then focus on clearing out the ground targets. By a stroke of absolute genius luck, I'd accidentally bought a ground attack group of Leopard tanks early on (I'd meant to buy a CAS) that had an hour's drive from Moradi to Qeshm airfield. The timing was perfect for the end of the session, they rolled in, dispatched the remaining threats at the airfield and promptly captured it! A technique to remember for the future.

We do not do any WWII DCS at the moment, all modern/cold war I am afraid. I am on my work laptop at the moment. I will repost a link to our Discord when I am next on. IL2 guys on Tuesday are still using Teamspeak. They play on public servers I believe?

Hi Gary, yes we are still active, but numbers are down from what they were. Sunday and Tuesday evenings for Il-2 GB and Thursday for DCS. Friar is running a DCS campaign so join the Discord channel tonight to speak to they guys.

I am now (finally) fully retired here in Spain with tons of spare time I want to join up with an active IL-2 GB / IL-2 Korea / DCS WWII / or even an IL-2 CLoD squadron. Own a ton if Great Battles content, Korea Founders Edition, DCS Bf-109, Fw-190 A-8, Fw-190 D9, Spitfire, P-51, P-47, Mosquito, and F4-U and WWII Assets Pak, Clod Blitz w/ Tobruk. Are you guys still active?

With help from @wingflyr I have upgraded the campaign to the latest version which has introduced some new features. The map will show state of warehouses Moving supplies to airfields now involves actually loading crates (C130, Hook and Huey) I have increased the chance of enemy force looking for downed pilots to 65% so rescue missions may need support I have increased the time from base capture enemy forces will try to take it back I have increased how quickly a base turns blue once captured We made need to tweak some more after the session tonight. Hello Crasheroony! Good to hear from you. Touch wood, it's doing well! The only thing I might change is going for the stronger motors, but that came with additional cost that I couldn't really justify at the time... but ultimately it feels great and just having the stick between your thighs and resting your wrist on your leg as you control the 'aircraft' feels much more like actually flying - with FFB on top, it's bloody marvellous!

How is it going Fen? I think I might be able to talk myself into doing something like this as my WH is about 10 years old so.....

As of now, the GBS Dogfight server is no longer running. But a CLOD server is. Just let me know whenever you find the performance of DCS is degraded because of this change. If so, I will stop Cliffs Of Dover server ...

Are 'we' still using the DangerDogz GBS DF Server at all? The one with the training missing running 24/7 Reason I ask is I found it today in a non-operational state, fixed that and started it back up. Is there still use for it? (If we're not using it, I can fire up the Cliffs server on it again... lol ... there are still a few pilots enjoying that one every day)
