When Can You Fly Lockon Fc 2.0?

When is a good time to just do some fun basic flying to test out your controls and just blow some shit up, or try some in-air refueling or something?

I need to refresh BS as well. Getting back up to speed in Lockon was not too difficult so far. Finding good missions is the next step I think, because I was never happy with the ones that I flew in BS.
