JensenPark
Maybe an easy one for you gents: does anyone use speaker wire extensions? my dear and cherished computer sits in an awkward spot between my desk and a bookshelf (with the back wiring almost against the wall) - making it one hell of a pain to unplug my 4 wire mike/headset and plug in the speakers (I use my computer as a dvd hooked up to my TV) and then visa versa. I thought if I could get extensions, then I could plug them in the back and take or bind them somewhere out front so I do not have to pull the damn thing out to unplug and then plug in speaker wires. wondering if anyone has had a similar issue or has a product to suggest... thanks as always. Cold_Gambler
Yo, girl~! Have I got extensions for you! Sorry... that was of no assistance whatsoever, I know. It's just the kids are finally asleep, and I've got to get my inner-idiot out sometime. OK. The idiot is back in his id-cage.

Cold_Gambler
I've taken my meds... honest! Actually, I'd like to know if any one has an answer to this too, as my 5.1 system could be better situated if not for 3 feet of missing cable length. 1. DDz Quorum Friar Posted December 31, 2008 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted December 31, 2008 forgot to add.... I also have a "Y" shaped splitter that I plug my headset and speakers into. When flying or just want the headset I turn the external speakers off, that saves a lot of "faffing about" as well.
