BBloke Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 I got a little chance to have some fun and it was fun. I tried most of the new WTF planes and found myself saying "WTF". I gotta say I feel there is limited scope for most of them but there are the few exceptions: A20 bomber and IL10. I found myself laughing at the Yak3R doing 630 at see level with the rocket going. Deacon352nd Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 It's a shame that they wasted so much time and effort programing so many planes that were not produced in any numbers. Quote
JensenPark Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 yea...I think Deacon you represent the huge majority of thought on this. Lot's of other planes to work on - Typhoon, P47N, B17 and 24 (they could have done limited gunner seats like the Ju 88 to make it easy), He129, Me 410 and so on. Or do a freakin' Korean War add on that people are clamouring for instead. Quote
Sunflower Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 The Nate was produced in numbers and is the proper foe of the Hawk, so its inclusion is a plus. Quote
Klinger Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Anyone tried the P51D yet? It's supposed to be improved. Gotta be my fave plane, but I lack the skill to fly it effectively Quote
DoubleTap Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 I flew the Ki-27 against a few aircraft for fun, and here's some basic impressions: Unbelievably maneuverable! Quote
Sunflower Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 I used up a whole ammo load on a Sally with a Nate without scoring visible damage other than one fuel leak. Quote
