1. DDz Quorum Painless Posted November 18, 2014 Author 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted November 18, 2014 Going for the "very tired just washed out with a dirty mop" look, as with the Ju 88. I used steel dry brush highlights with black wash to finish Nick.
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted November 18, 2014 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted November 18, 2014 (...) I used steel dry brush highlights with black wash to finish Nick. You've finished Nick? Oh dear....
2. Administrators Jabo Posted November 19, 2014 2. Administrators Share Posted November 19, 2014 @FT lol. @Painless - did you buy the wash ready mixed or make your own? If the latter - how? Sorry for all the questions.

1. DDz Quorum Painless Posted November 19, 2014 Author 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted November 19, 2014 LOL FT you git ! Nick is fine and healthy, not at all finished despite his appearance ! Nick, i just mixed silk black acrylic with water until it dried opaque. It collects in the corners as it drys creating a shadow like effect. Cheers, Mick

GreyKnight
Bloody hell Mick, have you fallen off your chair and banged your head? You do realise this is ze German airplane right? Or are you going to fit it small fireworks inside it, so when you finish it, you can grab a model Spitfire and go, "....Neeeeeeeooooooooowwwwwwn, dacka-dacka-dacka-KERBOOOM!" and blow it up. Looking good so far.
