A Flock Of Hueys

I recently joined a new squadron that's been created to just flying the Huey. Here's a little vid of one our practise nights. I'd already left when they recorded this. We're practising for a big OP on Wednesday. We'll be flying about 8 slicks and 2 to 4 gunships.

 

But it's great to fly so many Hueys together at once.

When and where?  Not sure I can make it (I volunteer at church on Weds...), but that does sound interesting.

 A bunch of us just had our basic aviator wings test with a real life helicopter pilot, I was sweating buckets.

Looks fun!  Is the DCS series very demanding of computer hardware?

Not 100% accurate SkyPup, but I would imagine it's slightly more demanding than IL-2. But I get good FPS, unless I get near smoke markers.

I have a good computer and have it maxed out and still get around 60fps even over cities.  But it looks good even if you turn down the graphic details IMO.  Also, it's free to download DCS World which includes the Su-25t to fly for free forever.  So you can test it out.
