The memorial was very moving and the replica was dedicated to all fliers  who died during OTU at Grangemouth, the spitfire is a replica of that flown by Sargent Eugeniusz Lukomsky from poland

There were representatives from the RAF, British Legion, Poland,Czechoslovakia , Australia and New Zealand.
