Thanks for the information yesterday, this will be another learning process like IL-2 was in the beginning.

This morning when I started the car, I checked the water temp gauge and considered waiting for it and the oil to heat up. Thanks again.

After a bit of fiddling I've got variable zoom on my 'sticks hat switch. Did it by reading up this thread;

Not completely convinced as you still need the use of two hands or a right-hand with two thumbs and four fingers.*

Also, not much of a 'stop' on the zoom out function. Pretty soon you realise that Edvard Munch is at the controls!

oh, by the way, i forgot to mention in this thread that there's 10 degree magnetic variation west to be accounted for in 1940, and its modelled in game.

0 degrees true north (north on the map) = 350 degrees magnetic north.

so to fly dead south on the in game map, your mag compass will be showing 170 degrees etc etc...
