JensenPark Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 From the Arizona Wing of the Commemorative Airforce Psycho side gunner...in a tie. The 50 cal was still very heavy...even on a swivel View from the port side gunner window...about 3000 feet above Edmonton. Will post some more and some vids once I get the loaded... Quote

1. DDz Quorum Painless Posted September 1, 2012 1. DDz Quorum Posted September 1, 2012 Greetings JP, You lucky lucky bugger !! Looking forward to the vid clips . Was it very loud ? Were there fumes ? Much vibration ? Cheers, Mick. Quote
Snacko Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Awesome JP! Did you see my post a few months ago about getting to ride in the nose of a B25j? Did you get up in the nose? Looking forward to the clips as well.. Quote
Streak Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Don't know how loud it is inside, but I've stood next to her and in the prop wash as she throttled up heading for the runway and it was very loud. And well..Exiting! Your a very lucky man to take a ride JP. Congrats! Quote
JensenPark Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 exit hatch...right by the starboard side gun. very small. notice it does not seal... view of the back of the plane from the port side gunner. rear gunner position about 15 feet back. very, very tiny space. You'd have to crawl to access it if. from the radio/gunner position view of my hotel...(in the foreground...in front of those two high right condos). short vid (looks like Ned Flanders from the Simpson's was in my way there at the end) btw Streak: not as loud as I thought inside. The 'loadmaster' was an old guy named Bob (about 70). He is one of the regulars in the B25. Unfortunately I didn't get to the nose of the plane. We were on a 30 minute promo right and the freakin' media on board hogged the good spot. Having mucho problemo with photobucket. Will load more as I can get them. here's the other side of the shot of the radio/gunner spot...machine gun tucked away nicely. Quote
rox Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Wo! ah! I'm at a loss for words! Second picture with the .50 cal reminds me of that Vietcong quote from Full Metal Jacket. Quote
T_O_A_D Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Nice JP! Yep should of got a job at a Hotel instead of the Truck Stop as a kid. Noted! Next time I guess. LOL Quote
