Some interesting developments on this extraordinary discovery. It seems the more poignant and important aspect of this event, the recovery of the P-40's lost pilot is reaching a conclusion. Although not yet officially confirmed, it is believed to have been Flight Sergeant Dennis Copping of Southend, England. Good for you Colin! What an experience. 'CDC is the oldest flying Tiger Moth and you were taken up by one of the true characters of the airshow/aviation world. My mum and dad both had the same pleasure as yourself some years ago. I only live a few miles up the road from Headcorn, and was out cycling yesterday afternoon near Ulcombe and 'CDC flew overhead, I wonder if it was you?! If I had know you were there I would have cycled down to watch
