  1. Changed back the settings in config.ini (that me and Painless changed to let UP3 run larger maps) to the same as in 4.101 and started a quick mission. Jaggies still there. When I swapped to 4.101 with exactly same settings in the config, it looks much much better. Both me and Painless noticed the difference when we changed from UP3 to 4.101 on yesterdays coop. There were no fekkin´jaggies anymore. What does UP3 do that 4.101 doesn`t? Or, what is missing? All settings in video options Hardware Settings (in the game) are the same.
  2. Ok, I will take a look at Nvidias drivers. Just throw the other I downloaded in the bin. Thanks for the advise. FB, I got the settings directed like you see in Toads screenshots. To IL-2 Sturmovik: Forgottten Battles. Have not changed that since I installed 1946. Wrong?
  3. Toad, I´m using all standrad as settings now, so it looks quiet differnt to yours. When I changedd some of the settings yesterday, it looked even worse. I don´t remember if I deleted all old nividia files before the installation of my new card. It sure warnes you to do so I remember. Maby I should start from the beginning since I found a driver update for my 250 on Asus homepage. I have the first one from 2009 and there are like 4 between mine to the latest. Regarding the link, I noticed jaggies on the river coastline on the your last pic, but not on any of the pic´s above the last one. Strange. So, how do I conduct a new driver installation the best way? I have already downloaded the file. Cheers
  4. My game is running smoth and fine in general but I just hate all those jaggies which prevent making nice screenies. It is also irritating when playing the game of course. Airfields, rivers, buildings and other lines on the ground are flickering. My videocard is a decent Asus ENGTS250 Dark Knight and 512 memory DDR3. I swapped from an older 8600GT card and the fps increased dramaticly. XP Pro, Duo E6750 and 4GB memory. Yesterday I tried to do some changes in my Nvidia Controlpanel, like override some settings instead og Global settings, set 8x in antialising etc, but that did not help. Any ideas?
  5. Think we sorted out my issues. At least the 90% loading issue. Thanks Fenrir!
  6. Agree Friar. I am suprised there are so many bugs in UP3. I thought I read somewhere that it was almost bug-free, despite some minor ones like the recticle in some of the Spits. But I could be wrong. So far I can´t load larger maps (game stops loading at 90% or quits to Desktop). My pc keep telling me to insert a disc when I quit UP3 (no big deal if it doesn´t happen in the game). XP users, who probably are in minority by now, have a big disadvantage of running UP3. It seem to be very close to CLOD in question of memory and GPU(?)usage. But I am still able to run UP3 with smaller maps and then it is working fine.
  7. Arthur asked yesterday about the bagpipers. Intresting I thought even when I first saw them playing on the beach. Thought it was only Scottish Schotch drinking natives that used this instrument. The Balearic type is called Xeremia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xeremia Cheers
  8. Welcome to the Dogz Coco! If you like sheep this is the place to be.
  9. Thanks guys. It was rather difficult to get good shots at the beach because of the big croud. Used a 24-85 zoom lens which was to short sometimes and not wide enogh sometimes. Streak, I actually did not notice the details until I viewed the pic´s back home Cheers
  10. Aviation day in south Sweden. And Jedi is commentating at about 24 seconds into the clip. Or is he? http://www.skanskan.se/webbtv/976328983001/flygets-dag-i-eslov
  11. As some of you proparly know Majorca had a pretty violent history including invations of Vandals, Arabs Turks and other. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majorca One of the biggest and greates Fiestas is held in Soller and Porto Soller where I use to stay. This was my first time I stayed i May and this Fiesta was new to me. I quote a text I found on the Net: "Festa de Nostra Sanyora de la Victoria One of the more entertaining festivals you'll see on Majorca family holidays, the Festa de Nostra Sanyora de la Victoria, is held on the second Sunday of May. Held annually to mark the invasion of a band of Turkish pirates, this is a celebration of an occasion when all the townsfolk, including the local women, rallied together in a battle to defeat the invaders. The real attraction of this festival is the mock battles staged between the 'heroes' and the 'pirates.'" This was a huge and totally insane party with thousands of spectators and participants who were running wild all day long. I have never seen a drunk Spaniard before, closest is when they are having whine for lunch and dinner, but nothing like this. Some were heavy intoxicated! There were firecrackers, no, bombs detonating alla around and some of them had real shootguns firing real shells in the air. I hope it was blinds! The police were there, but did not do anything to prevent anything that happend. Only stopping cars at junctions. After they invaded the beach, and got fought back by the inhabitants, the whole crowd marched about 1 km south to a historical bridge to defend. Thar was enough for me. Next time I will get drunk, paint myself black and take part of the Fiesta lol. Pic´s are coming. I dont know how many per page I can post, without "spamming" I give it a try. Some of them thought I was working for a paper and wanted me to take pictures of them lol. More coming..

  16. The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent terrorist threats and have therefore raised their security level from “Miffed” to “Peeved.” Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to “Irritated” or even “A Bit Cross.” The English have not been “A Bit Cross” since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies nearly ran out. Terrorists have been re-categorized from “Tiresome” to “A Bloody Nuisance.” The last time the British issued a “Bloody Nuisance” warning level was in 1588, when threatened by the Spanish Armada. The Scots have raised their threat level from “Pissed Off” to “Let’s Get The Bastards.” They don’t have any other levels. This is the reason they have been used on the front line of the British army for the last 300 years. The French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from “Run” to “Hide.” The only two higher levels in France are “Collaborate” and “Surrender.” The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France’s white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country’s military capability. Italy has increased the alert level from “Shout Loudly and Excitedly” to “Elaborate Military Posturing.” Two more levels remain: “Ineffective Combat Operations” and “Change Sides.” The Germans have increased their alert state from “Disdainful Arrogance” to “Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs.” They also have two higher levels: “Invade a Neighbor” and “Lose.” Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual; the only threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels. The Spanish are all excited to see their new submarines ready to deploy. These beautifully designed subs have glass bottoms so the new Spanish navy can get a really good look at the old Spanish navy. Australia, meanwhile, has raised its security level from “No Worries” to “She’ll Be Alright, Mate.” Two more escalation levels remain: “Crikey! I Think We’ll Need to Cancel the Barbie This Weekend!” and “The Barbie is Cancelled.” So far, no situation has ever warranted use of the final escalation level.

  20. Is it for sale or rent? Could sure have use for that eagle, taking out the hole family of stinking wild goats that are eating all our plants and flowers in Spain and harassing us with their awfull smell. You can feel them coming miles away by their smell. They are passing beneath us every evening just before sunset.
