Here is a small single player mission that might help you to find out. Of course, besides from supporting with monitor calibration (brightness, contrast, gamma) the mission also helps to quickly check if/how SweetFX and other software-based adjustments influence the contact visibility. Instructions: 1. Download this zip-archive, 2. extract the three files to your missions-directory in "...\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover - MOD\missions\Single", 3. start up TFCliffs and choose in "Single Player/Single Mission" the mission "Contact Spotting" *. 4. Directly after you have spawned in the plane (109) pause the game (default: "p") and 5. choose the pre-defined 30° zoom-view (default: "Delete"). 6. Now count the contacts that you somehow can see in the area left to your plane's gunsight - as tiny and bright the pixels may be. In total there are up to 16 contacts (Spitfires) that are positioned in 1 km steps from a distance of 1 km to 16 km. On my screen I somehow can see 14 of the 16 contacts (see attached image): In a real flight situation I probably "only" would have some realistic chance to see 11 contacts (meaning contacts up to a distance of 11 km against this bright-blue sky). So, someone more/less? * Note - thanks to ATAG_Lewis: The 109 that you spawn in should be standing on the ground. If you spawn in an already airborne plane you have to adapt your "realism settings": Before starting the mission go into 'Custom'..then 'Realism Options'....and check All the 'Visual aides' and check 'Mission Take-Off and Landing'...

Gypsy has a bit of Histroy in him aslo, in the 60's he was a Flight trainer for the Military. So we might gleen some of that out of him as he has time. He has out TS info and flight schedules and once rolling will be popping in as his health alows.

I made myself a set of working DVD backups in folder format yesterday and today. This set is going to Gypsy he's and old TUSA pilot, that I've known for years and took a much longer hiatus than I have from the game. He has Clod, but can't get 1946 to install on his Win 10 system from the Original disc. SOOO It took two disk for stock 4.12.2 and three disk with HSFX. He doesn't need the plain stock one, as we all know, but it would give him a fresh start anytime he needs one or to build any of the other arrangements out there besides HSFX.

Robert Smith aka Taldrg Not sure if or how many knew him, but he flew Corsairs in WW2 and flew IL2 he was a JO memeber, and AH as well. Bear let me know about it a few minutes ago. He passed this afternoon in the ambulance age 91 of heart attack. S! BG I've been sorting out paints from my game today, I accidently copy pasted once and said save both, and I have seen BG skins on and off all day. trying to maually get rid of all of them that have (2).bump in theire name. Sure do miss you ole boy! I know if ya was to pop on coms, it would feel like you never left. I spoke to Fruitbat the other night for the first time in probably 3 years, and it was as if we had seen each other last week. Good friends just do that I guess.

It apears there might be AP its called DIView Jack put me onto it a year or so ago. I have it in the vault from back then in Utilities. A quick vid with phone. I ended up using this prog,http://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17886&highlight=VirtualCockpit.exe if you have a second monitor it works as it should. Only complaint is it does't save your settings, and you have to reset it as you want each time you boot the prog before loading the game, or switch aircraft panels.

I found glance at dashboard easy enough, but its no better than just using zoom and Track IR. Found this video, anyone familiar with this, or a better way than adding another program and extra buttons to get the views?

The tube could totally use drop in cigar tray, or cup holder addon for the deserning pilot. Heck make it on both sides and just swing the band as needed, and have the cigar tray and cup holder at your disposal at the same time. Myself would use the cigar tray for snacks. And the cup holder for Beer of course.

I got here too late. the PSU can be jumped with it unplugged from MOBO, jump the green and the black wire in the middle just left of the clip IIRC. Didn't you just go spend some quality time with the Dogz and real airplanes? I have afeel your computer Bitch got jealous. ;-)
