Well done 485th, in the face of ridiculous amounts of AAA we managed to bag a very respectable haul of ground targets in Koln. Unfortunately we lost 1st Lt Luke Rox due to both engines being hit by AAA. His replacement will be with us forthwith. Sadly we also lost Funflak to high speed topsoil contamination. Congratulations to Capt Fenton Rea for a huge individual haul of 10+ AAA batteries, enough to keep any “intruder” running for some time. No enemy aircraft spotted which was just as well given the amount of lead in the air over the target. I would like to work on improving our coordination when attacking such a well defended target in an effort to avoid further losses chaps. A more thorough briefing and attack plan would help, coupled with better situational comms between pairs. This is something all of us need to work on, not least of all myself. A big thank you to our P51 escort for taking at least some of the AAA heat from us.

No complaints about lack of action this time ! We came across 3 x Ju52 initially and dispatched them. We had heard calls for assistance from 410th which had been answered by 402nd. We managed to shoot down a FW190 A8 in our patrol area quickly followed by a call from 402nd onto a fight with 109 G14s way above us. These boys were determined to put up a fight and managed to “head on” kill 2ndLt Stella Artois from long range. Major Payne-Less was also damaged and broke off heading for Aachen airfield pursued by a nasty Nazi with a flea up his arse. Thankfully after scoring a few more hits on Maj PL aircraft he was forced to break off by Flt O John Johnson and Capt Fenton Rea. At the insistance of Major PL this particular 109 was destroyed as many times as possible ! Safe recovery was made at Aachen. Capt Rea and Flt O Johnson returned to home base. (Grateful for the assistance chaps !) We anticipate a swift replacement for Stella, she was very popular and leaves big court shoes to fill. Edit: we also managed to destroy a few ground targets, but in all the excitement I had clean forgotten, talk about immersion! OUT..

Sorry to hear that Chris, they also emailed me saying delivery would be Monday but was in fact Friday. The consolation will hopefully be that the product is good when it eventually arrives.

Wow Crasheroony, that is just bananas baby . Those links make for interesting reading. A mate of mine got a £10,000 short term bank loan last year and bought a Bitcoin at £7000. He used the remainder of the loan to pay the monthly’s for a while. Now he has sold the coin, payed off the loan and made a very tidy profit, (enough to buy a nice car).GIT ! 🙄
