  1. Really looking forward to meeting up with you guys That promo vid was good Jabo, nicely embedded too Have heard and seen some of the aircraft from Duxford being dusted off, one advantage of living so close
  2. I can see it Jim.. You can collapse the right hand column, perhaps that is what you have done? New version of the board is out on Tuesday, adds some nice features and fixes..
  3. And this is from the guy who returned from his trip to Duxford to find his wife was pregnant.. Wait..that didn't come out quite right..
  4. Stumbled across this whilst trying to fin a colleague's phone number at work, if it were me I would change my name by deed poll pronto! Imagine the grief kids would have to tolerate at school, perhaps this is ideal contraception: And he is in sales too!!
  5. Every one of those little blue balls is a thought about something that needs to be done, a decision or a problem that needs to be solved. A man has only 2 balls and they take up all his thoughts...
  6. Bloody hooray, was starting to get despondent about the files in the vault! Welcome back m8!
  7. Do a CMOS reset first mate, usually involves removing the battery and power then shorting 2 pins. Leave it like that for a while, then clear pins, replace battery and apply power. Had this happen in the past with Asus boards, and they booted good as gold afterwards. But then if you need to justify an upgrade...
  8. Guy here at work (he has flown with us a few times too) bought this bundle. He has had a bit of a 'mare with it, looks like faulty RAM stick. But it does put into question the Overclockers pre-build and test regime. I got a cheap AMD bundle from them that was guaranteed to overclock, but never did...granted it was not a pre-built one like the Intel system you linked to. Overclockers are very good, RMA is relatively painless, but there may be questions regarding their QA on these OC'd systems...
  9. I have added an announcement in DangerDogz private area to handle taking payments, please don't use the Donation System as this is then tracked as a donation!! This linky should take you there if you need it. When you get to Paypal it will say it's a donation, ignore that. That is the only way I can take payments for goods of unknown value, if Jabo can get definitive prices for me I can create buttons for each item type, and options ;)
  10. Last year I bought a Phenom II X2 550BE, never did much with it aside from plugging it in and using it. This morning on a whim I unlocked the extra two cores (the X2s are X4s that 'failed' QA and have two cores turned off by AMD) and after adding a mere 0.05v have got it running Prime95 stable so far. Sweet Now to see in the coming days if I can get her up to 3.8GHz

Nothing visible here in London or @ home in Cambridge. I think it is most likely a smudge and so high invisible to the naked eye. It may give rise to some interesting sunsets though..

Sounds like a caching issue. http://www.dangerdogz.com is the main site index page, and should show only two buttons, one for home and one for forums. Clicking home should do nada, forums however should bring you here. The forums, http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums will prompt you to login if you try to post, it will also show a restricted view (some forums require membership to view). I'm using google Chrome, have tested with FireFox and IE8 and not found any issue with logging on. Software does detect that you may have logged on from another system (can even be 2nd browser or a pc on same IP) and will ask you to revalidate and will terminate the old session. So if you have left the browser open on the forums on, say, your home PC. Then login on your work system, when you come back home it will appear that you are logged in until you either refresh the page, or click a link. You will then be prompted to login again. This security measure helps protect our system from attack, and also aids your privacy. If you have more than one tab/button showing for the first link (the home page for dangerdogz.com) then this sounds like IE has cached the site and has not yet refreshed the page. ctrl+f5 should fix that. The home page will be changing soon, and will be integrated with the forums properly.
  15. Cheers Dragan, yes it is a great bit of software. We can easily convert those topics, I'll create a Tutorial area for them, then clicking the icon bottom right under the post will do it's magic.
  16. Download a new one Martin. And it has an analogue clock too, at least with Win 7 it does..
  17. Both PCs need to be on same subnet, this should happen automatically if both are set to get IP from DHCP and your router/switch acts as a dhcp server. If you do not have a router (you mention 'switch' then they will auto assign an IP - this should be on same subnet/mask..need more detail (output of start > run > cmd + enter > ipconfig/all from both systems). Firewall(s) may be blocking ICMP (ping).
  18. No problem using the paypal account guys, I can setup an additional item for this. What is the difference between a 'Beanie' and a 'Baseball cap'? Thinking about at least a shirt and headware, got more detail on the Jacket Nick?
  19. Handy site! Click this to test your ping and packet loss Mine, during the busy period: And @ 23:39 slightly better (this is a 20Mb fibre connection...)
  20. Hi guys ('bout time we got some talent members of the fairer sex in our membership.) I have installed a new tutorial system today. First addition to it was a brief explanation of how to get TS3 showing on the G15 keyboard. I had to fudge it a little bit, by first creating a post in the IL2 Tutorials board. This allowed me to add attachments, quite important I think, to add a visual guide. Then I had to import it as a tutorial, and then add a link back to the support topic...hmmm..I must be overlooking a setting somewhere.. All sorted now, you can add images as though it were a normal post! I will add more categories, including one on how to use the Tutorial System!! You will have seen the new 'hook' as they call it in the right side bar, and a tab that has now appeared on the menu at the top. There should also be a new icon under posts, entitled 'Make Tutorial'. This will convert a post into a tutorial..surprisingly enough! I also locked down the propaganda room, so no new topics unless in a defined group (it is used to generate the 'View the latest news..' item in the forum top menu. You should be able to reply to topics though. So first up for replies: What tutorials would you like to see, and any volunteers to create these?
  21. And still relatively sane too! Congrats mate! I can still remember feeling chuffed (and a little overawed it has to be said) when BG invited Delta and I to fly with the Dogz, had no idea where it was going to lead.. So pleased to have been invited, and to still be here
  22. This is the support topic for the tutorial Enable Ts3 Display On G15 Keyboard. Please post here if you have any questions or feedback.
  23. Please check this newly minted Tutorial in our new Tutorial App: http://www.dangerdog...n-g15-keyboard/
