  1. It has fixed it, looks good and performance is still good.
  2. Apparently these drivers have now fixed the corrupt text issue: Downloading them now
  3. Wow! What OS is on that beast, or can you put what you want on it? How permanent would it be?
  4. Cheers Dragan, we do have another server I am building at the moment. Mostly done now, running beta 3 of the latest forum software (gold is released on Tuesday so will not migrate until after that any way) and it is looking good so far. We will have our own TS3 server running on the new system too, so can dispense with the third party viewer at last! I'd like to try Mumble server on it too, I have used it a lot on another server of mine and quality is very good, it is open source and has a built in overlay. Plus it supports other games, and can link what you are running to a room. For example if you are running BattleField 2 Bad Company, when you start the game it dumps you into a room for that game. Don't know yet if it works with IL2 that way though..
  5. OK try now.. Hateful little shit, this is a third party utility we are using kludged into our own system. Will be so much easier if we have our own TS Server..
  6. OK, that should be working for everyone now. Apologies for not checking it properly sooner.
  7. Congrats Crash!

  8. Up to you really Nick, you put a lot of time and effort into this and I don't think any one would complain if some profit went in your pocket. Must get around to putting in my order! On the Web/TS side of things I am busy trying to get a better solution for us. Current hosting is quite bad now, and an admin nightmare (my shell connection keeps getting reset and the database side of things is poor too). I'm tending towards a combination of a VPS and Amazon S3 for storage - we have over 20GB of data!! I'll post more detail in the right place.. hijack over.
  9. Really looking forward to meeting up with you guys That promo vid was good Jabo, nicely embedded too Have heard and seen some of the aircraft from Duxford being dusted off, one advantage of living so close
  10. I can see it Jim.. You can collapse the right hand column, perhaps that is what you have done? New version of the board is out on Tuesday, adds some nice features and fixes..
  11. And this is from the guy who returned from his trip to Duxford to find his wife was pregnant.. Wait..that didn't come out quite right..
  12. Stumbled across this whilst trying to fin a colleague's phone number at work, if it were me I would change my name by deed poll pronto! Imagine the grief kids would have to tolerate at school, perhaps this is ideal contraception: And he is in sales too!!
  13. Every one of those little blue balls is a thought about something that needs to be done, a decision or a problem that needs to be solved. A man has only 2 balls and they take up all his thoughts...
  14. Bloody hooray, was starting to get despondent about the files in the vault! Welcome back m8!
  15. Do a CMOS reset first mate, usually involves removing the battery and power then shorting 2 pins. Leave it like that for a while, then clear pins, replace battery and apply power. Had this happen in the past with Asus boards, and they booted good as gold afterwards. But then if you need to justify an upgrade...
  16. Guy here at work (he has flown with us a few times too) bought this bundle. He has had a bit of a 'mare with it, looks like faulty RAM stick. But it does put into question the Overclockers pre-build and test regime. I got a cheap AMD bundle from them that was guaranteed to overclock, but never did...granted it was not a pre-built one like the Intel system you linked to. Overclockers are very good, RMA is relatively painless, but there may be questions regarding their QA on these OC'd systems...
  17. I have added an announcement in DangerDogz private area to handle taking payments, please don't use the Donation System as this is then tracked as a donation!! This linky should take you there if you need it. When you get to Paypal it will say it's a donation, ignore that. That is the only way I can take payments for goods of unknown value, if Jabo can get definitive prices for me I can create buttons for each item type, and options ;)
  18. Last year I bought a Phenom II X2 550BE, never did much with it aside from plugging it in and using it. This morning on a whim I unlocked the extra two cores (the X2s are X4s that 'failed' QA and have two cores turned off by AMD) and after adding a mere 0.05v have got it running Prime95 stable so far. Sweet Now to see in the coming days if I can get her up to 3.8GHz

Nothing visible here in London or @ home in Cambridge. I think it is most likely a smudge and so high invisible to the naked eye. It may give rise to some interesting sunsets though..

Sounds like a caching issue. http://www.dangerdogz.com is the main site index page, and should show only two buttons, one for home and one for forums. Clicking home should do nada, forums however should bring you here. The forums, http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums will prompt you to login if you try to post, it will also show a restricted view (some forums require membership to view). I'm using google Chrome, have tested with FireFox and IE8 and not found any issue with logging on. Software does detect that you may have logged on from another system (can even be 2nd browser or a pc on same IP) and will ask you to revalidate and will terminate the old session. So if you have left the browser open on the forums on, say, your home PC. Then login on your work system, when you come back home it will appear that you are logged in until you either refresh the page, or click a link. You will then be prompted to login again. This security measure helps protect our system from attack, and also aids your privacy. If you have more than one tab/button showing for the first link (the home page for dangerdogz.com) then this sounds like IE has cached the site and has not yet refreshed the page. ctrl+f5 should fix that. The home page will be changing soon, and will be integrated with the forums properly.
  23. Cheers Dragan, yes it is a great bit of software. We can easily convert those topics, I'll create a Tutorial area for them, then clicking the icon bottom right under the post will do it's magic.
