  1. Whoops - sorry Glenn. Should be fixed now, added xlsx and xlsm file extensions for the new fangled Excel file type
  2. If it is over 123 meg (I think) then you will need ftp! Sent from my Galaxy S2 using TapaTalk
  3. gah.. private album.. DT - our very own gallery here is pretty good Takes videos too!
  4. Ubuntu.. what this server runs on No desktop though.. 'cos it's a server version. My kids used Ubuntu fine, but then they have the advantage of being young..
  5. You can only use the key once.. AFAIK as it will attempt to activate over the NET. Install media is not tied to a key, but you need to know which version the key is for so when installing you select correct version. So if the key is for, say. home premium you select that from install options. Once built you then input the key and it talks to mother, and authorizes the install. TechNet is a good option if you want to trial and test the operating systems MS offers. They do not expire so quite long and rigourous testing is possible. Technet is not too expensive, and a great solution if you want a test network of computers - and you can have servers too

    Roll Call!

ipconfig /flushdns Or if someone were to give you the IP you can create a host entry in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts Format being: ip address [hostname/domain name] Must get my DCS updated.. forgot I had it..
  7. Last item on this page claims to be the firmware updater utility for all LiteOn DVD drives: http://www.liteonodd.com/en/service-support/download/cat_view/44-software-tool/54-utilities http://www.liteonodd.com/en/service-support/download/doc_download/22--smartpack-firmware-auto-upgade-program-for-optical-storage-products
  8. Check for a firmware upgrade for your DVD drive, most manufacturers have updates and utilities, these often resolve read issues with DVDs. Re: vista and uninstall/re-install. Installs are tracked in 2 places, registry and an installation tracking directory under c:\program files\common\ There was a utility that will clear out this stuff but has been discontinued by MS, MSICUU2.exe, and you may be able to get a copy from the web - use at own risk! A regcleaner will fix the registry aspect, and I would recomend that course.. A search of the hard drive for files containing the product name may reveal the installer DB location, moving any files found to a safe location may re-enable a re-install. You should NEVER manually remove a program, always use the uninstall utility to prevent these issues!
  9. RL Friends of mine, Barry is also a DD, Bazza not active in IL2 anymore.

    Hello All

He was insane before the campaign, how do you think it could be so good otherwise?

    Hello All

Well.. to have some of your input into MDS in general, and more specifically missions with objectives that can be used for flying nights and/or ad-hoc co-op type missions for 1 or more humans would be great. My time is also somewhat limited, I can do the system admin side of MDS but mission building is beyond me. I have to fix the gunstats bit, for some reason it doesn't track those correctly at the moment.
  17. I'd start with a refund request on those specs mate.. Doesn't actually look that bad, what is the rear qurter panel like, I can see it is a little scuffed.. may not be a write-off (2nd hand door will be cheap).

    Hello All

Hey Glenn, good to see you around! I can't claim any for the honouring, Snacko did the banner and I just put in place what was requested MDS.. I thought of you when I first stumbled across it, we have a dedicated MDS server too that you are more than welcome to play with. Could do with some of your input!
  19. So are we approaching the point where a dedicated server might be useful?
  20. It may not be as bad as it once was, but I found MSE to be the culprit for me. Specifically it was defender that was a pos and was pulling my system down. File operations in particular as well as browsing as it fought for io time.... Sent from my Galaxy using TapaTalk
  21. lmao. quality is not what we expect from ITV
  22. Nope he's keeping his chosen one pure.... Sent from my Galaxy using TapaTalk
  23. Hmm. I'm beginning to think it may have to be the other way around, the sheep definitely need to be warned at least.
