  1. You happen to know whether the Ping values are as before? Weird stuff... Tried resetting your router? Is this on Windows 10?
  2. Are you connecting to the same server all the time? Have you tried other servers, and if so, is it similar? I find that every now and then, it does get slow to connect... not very often. You could try and clear the cache: delete all files in My Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover - MOD\cache
  3. Had not seen it before, it's a nice article, nice read: Spitfire shot down over Salisbury Plain (...)
  4. Found these, created them some twenty odd years ago... From left to right a VW aircooled boxer engine, a bottle of whine and a bottle of Coke, and a portable computer, with mouse! In the front, one speed-skate ... I should have put something in the picture for size comparison, but the height and with of the engine is about 5cm ie. 2 inch.
  5. Hm, I should try and do similar with my hometown... Thanks for this dizzy! (Arnhem is only 35km SW up river from where I live...)
  6. So, apparently, this thread never really worked... Came accross some weirdo issue I thought I'd share here: Loadouts. So whenever a loadout is wrong in a mission, it won't tell you in an error message. You may or may not get the 'Selected aircraft not created' error when hitting fly. Anyways, here's what I found in HSFX 7.03 regarding loadouts, these are correct loadouts, swapping them will .... hurt the mission! weapons 1xSC1000 for: Class air.JU_87D3 Class air.JU_87D5 weapons 1SC1000 for: Class air.HE_111H6 Class air.JU_87B2 So, this is one of the causes we still have (had?) error missions. I have used Misty to make changes like this, as I somewhere concluded initially that 1xSC1000 would be an error in HSFX 7 (it ís for the 87B2), so I changed all missions to go for 1SC1000 .... yeah that action buggered up some other missions ... Anyways, got them all checked and fixed now... for this specific loadout.... Am about to upgrade our set of coop missions, so ....
  7. Bye Bye, Have Fun! (Although I bet he won't be reading this, all gone, and no lookin' back...)
  8. "You must be logged on to (...)" To me, this just likes an attempt to lure more unsuspecting Dogz into 'driving' ....
  9. Good show Largie!!! Now where's the video? Does she fly/turn better than the 109?
  10. Increased the number of submissions to 71 on the server. Increased the frequencies of spawning of submissions. More planes, more fun!
  11. Attached is a piece of a mission file, that will add Gravesend as a base to your mission. If you add this code to the bottom of your .mis file, you can test your mission by running it, (hosting it as server) and you should be able to view it from an aircraft, if you spawn in at Gravesend. Mind you, you should not have added any ground- or static objects to your (sub)mission! GravesendBase.mis
  12. NVidia drivers versions 362 and 364 may cause issues with Clod: See this thread at ATAG
  13. Was this is brand new Windows 10 install, as in not an upgrade from 7? If so... who else has been on W10 from te start/fresh new install?
  14. Would that have been a volonteer job, the guy holding that wingtip at take off?
  15. Looks good, though I am not sure whether you will be needing 700/800W PSU. Better spend some of power into pounds, get a lighter one of better quality....
  16. Okay, as for study examples, attached are two sub-missions that are currently in use on our server... The 'Bump' of this thread is currently mainly to gather missions that we can use at our an event-night, so not to be taken into rotation on the normal 24/7 Clod Server.... 17. Oh Tonar, where have you been?
  18. After repairs and +1 transport, we're back up to the same number we had at the start of the first session. Perf, thanks for the heads-up about the emergency gear procedure, will check it out... Edit: Here's the basics, what I could find on the subject: - You can use the emergency system one time only If difficulty is experienced in selecting wheels "DOWN", or the wheels fail to drop (indicated by the failure of the RED lights to extinguish), select wheels "UP" again and press the operating lever for 15 seconds or operate the hand pump; after which select wheels "DOWN" immediately. 1. Reduce Speed to -- 90 MPH -- ASI 2. Press Undercarriage Emergency Release Knobs with -- BOTH FEET -- and Select Wheels -- DOWN ??
  19. Job done, uneventfull flight - At start 4 Reds vs 18 Blues ... lol Good flight, good navigation, after I picked up some landmarks for re-assurance... Perfect 3 point landing, yes! Oh, no signs indicating the proper heading for landing on our field though... weird.
  20. I'll go an ferry a hurry over to d<censored>
  21. You might think so, but no, it is in repairs currently ... so you must've mishandled it somewhere along the way...
