my first impressions. It has the potential to be awesome, and i'm sure it will be in the future, it looks stunning. however, at the moment its still beta imo. hopefully the patch thats coming in the next few days will help a lot of the optimisation problems. -

so I noticed lol, gave it a quick test run this morning, horrible performance on my system (though I don't know the default graphics settings, and it was on full resolution so there is hope after I find out how to lower settings), my joystick didn't register but the throttle worked, and upon pressing escape my whole system crashed and rebooted. Also lots of bugs with rendering the pilot and planes in the menu. but oh well, hopefully they'll patch up the buggyness within a month or...

from reading around appears that might work on Russian version, not the western, but we'll see. -

it kinda warms my heart when you give mod advice FT! What FT said is fine. however, UP2.01 is soon to become obsolete, with the new version of the Ultrapack scheduled for the first week of April, and this will be based around version 4.10.1 rather than the older 4.09. I would just wait until that comes out and get that, as will we. for now we're nearly always flying 4.10.1 , so.... best thing to do for now is create a backup of your 4.10.1 install, ready to put the new UP over when it comes out.

What jabo said. I just converted some missions from a normal offline campaign, into a series of online co-ops which enables others to join in the mission and the comp flying all the other planes apart from the human participants, which 4 of us flew on monday, and bloody great fun it was!

If anyones interested, i'm happy to stick a few missions up tonight, and give HSFX 5 a testdrive, i've just quickly co-op'ed an offline Dgen crimea 109f4 campaign i've been messing around with over the last few days.

we've got 6 pilots now, Myself, Fen, Mayhem, Squawk, Jedi and Rox. Squawk and Mayhem, you will need to get HSFX 5 down, myself Fen and Jedi got it and it works fine, Rox is downloading.....
