Here is a handy site where i read some reviews before I bought my 22" Eizo monitor. I was looking for a monitor good for both editing pics (PSP) and gaming. I was also looking for a monitor with a viewing angle not less than 170 degrees. On the cheaper TN type monitors you have to sit in a perfect angle, if not the monitor is getting darker in relation to the angle of view. Swep

Thanks for your adivce mates. I searched and found this site: http://www.whatsrunning.net/whatsrunning/main.aspx very neat to check all running processes in the task manager. They had a link that lead me to Uniblue and it seemed to be a useful program. Well, of course you are right, it is better to go direct to the target: the manufactor. FT, I will give TIR that answer since they never came with a solution on their own forum. My BIOS is working fine and I will not upgrade. Swep

Having some trouble closing Track IR I mailed their support today. The answer I got was if I have the latest Bios and motherboard drivers. I found this: http://www.liutilities.com/products/campaigns/affiliate/offer/gen/ds/ site when searching around for just something. I downloaded the program and scanned my system but have not downloaded the drivers yet. Anybody know if it could do any harm to my pc? This is what the scan found to be outdated:

~S~ Jabo. That would be a nice idea. But, I would like to do the same thing, but with CH Products. I find that a combo of Fighterstick, Throttle and Rudder pedals, or only Stick and Pedals, has a very low price if buying in the USA due to the low exchange rate. From Amazon or direct from CH Products. None of them are selling outside the USA. Also there is no freight charge when ordering from Amazon and pretty low charge from CH. If buying from CH there is no tax buying from outside California. And if someone is shipping me all this as a gift (not that good maby, if something brakes, there will be no insurence that cover the real cost) I wount pay any import tax either. Swep

Hold your horses....! I get a lucky shot once in a while, if not beeing shot down on the first run. I was chasing Mr Arthur with my Spit but could´nt get any advantage since he flied a fast FW190. So I turned around to seek up some other enemys but the sky was empty on blues. Suddenly I saw same FW190 chasing a buddy of mine, Mr Rumba, and I went after them. I dont think Arthur saw me at all when I turned on the inside of him. I was tempted to shoot on a distance but waited and waited and suddenly he was so close I could see the sweat pearls on his nose. My wing canon did the rest. This position is what I like the best. When a plane is passing flat in front of you. Salute! Swep

Crazy! Reminds me when we put a firecracker under an emty coffee tin can. It flew about 30 meters high. Later we found cartrige we emptied on gun powder, filled a 20mm copper pipe with the powder, plugged it in both ends with cartriges. The whole pipe was placed in a big glass bottle with the end of the pipe sticking out where we put a lit candle. Those days were fun.

GK, yes I heard and read that the Force Feedback 2 is good one. It seem though that those two sellers only ship to GB. Swep

This kit of Saitek was not my bag. I have decided to return the stuff to the seller. We have legal right to do so within 14 days if not used or broke. It will not go for all merchandise but I hope they will take it back and pay my money back. I have just put everything back in the original boxes. I have tried to program this sst thing the whole day and it ended with a computer crash. I tested in 1946 4.08 clean and when quitting the game everything just froze. I cold not even quit any programs in Task Manager. I hade to unplug the power cord. I uninstalled all Saitek softwares, unplugged everything, started up installed the software and plugged in the Hotas again. After a while I got rid of the sst software and set up all controls in IL-2 instead. I got that far that I flew around for a while. Anyway, this Saitek stuff is not for me. I felt uncomfortable with the stick, with the throttle and the rudder pedals. All those keys, sliders, rotary switches, nope nothing for me. I bailed out! Thanks for all help. Swep

Thanks Delta! Everytime I boot my pc it is telling me that a new software/hardware is installed. It is that Magic Mouse thing. I thought it was automaticly installed with software and drivers? Even if I answer Yes and Next in the dialog boxes a new dialog box pops up and asking me to do the same thing again! I have searched Saitek site but this software is nowhere to be found. I have read thogh that lots of people having problems with the Magic Mouse.. Anyone have a sollution? Swep

Toad, i bought the Saitek Pro pedals. I was thinking exactly the same thing you mentioned, just use it with my toes. Dont think I need more then that. So slipping on the floor is no problem. If I put the stick between two fingers and move it around it feels like it has a pretty big deadband or backlash. It does not stay in the centre as much as i like it to. It feels very soft. I have not installed it yet and can not tell if this backlash will appear in the game. It is like the spring wount hold the stick down on to this cone washer. Before I install the complete Hotas I like to get some response from Dogs mates. If this is normal or not. Swep

So I got my Saitek X52 Pro (pedals and stick/throttle) today. Have not instelled and conneced it yet. My first hands-on reflections: 1. Did not thought the spring was this soft. Compared to ny Logitech 3D Pro. 2. This stick is flimsy. It has a backlash of several mm´s from the middle position. I can move it back and forth with ease, even twist it, no resistance at all. Is this normal? Will it have affect in game? 3. When moving the stick further it feels kind of sticky, not as smooth as I thoght. Like un-polished metal. 4. The rudderpedals has a very low support for the heels. A bit dissapointing I think.

Anybody know how to use it another 30 days? Swep

Thanks mates! Uninstalled TIR and re-installed it. Even found my old profiles. Well, think it´s a crappy program, but maby is it how it works with USB stuff. Yes, running Version 5 on a TIR 4 Pro. Swep

Made more room on my desk for incoming Hotas and unplugged USB connector to my TIR. When connecting again it can´t find it and keeps telling me that a new softvare is found. I have unplugged TIR before and it worked well. What the heck is going on? Tried three differnt USP ports but the same message. Even turned off/on PC but no.. Swep

~S~ to you all. Just ordered a new kit of Saitek Hotas. Pedals, stick and that thing that makes your kite move faster. I included new grafics to have the frames move a bit faster as well. Prepare for lots of questions... Swep

~S~ Ovy. Using the Tir 4 Pro with 5.0 software. Great. The only issue I have with 5.0 (had 4.0 before) is that I must exit Tir when green led is ON. If red led is ON (pause Tir) I have to go into Taskmanager and delete the process. I have read that others having same problem. Dont know what causes this. Wasnt like this with old version. Running XP Pro 32bit SP3. Swep

Well, after buying throttle and stick I need some additional set up. No more "20 seconds" please!
