1680*1050 is a 16:9 resolution. you should just use your ingame settings and zoom out to have this view. your LCD should always be set to it's native resolution. it is different from LCD to LCD. i have 20" LCD also on 1680*1050. Check your LCD manual for it's native resolution.

i just paid for airplane and airshow tickets so Vila and I are all set. Our plane arrives to Stansted in Friday 6:50 PM. We have a rented car waiting for us there so if anyone needs a ride we have 2 or 3 seats to offer. If nothing else shows up we r going to sleep in the car. Anyone knows an auto camp close or someones yard where we could park through the night and not to be bothered by the police?

did not fly other sims with it but in IL2 there is just not enough benefit from 6 DOF. i use only 2 and it serves me great. p.s. that could also mean that i just did not put enough effort to get used to 6 DOF

u need to make sure that the right input device is selected in TS options. I have Realtek HD and i have 2 HD inpit's. go to TS options and try all of the input devices. Also try switching front and rear connectors. could be that front panel is not working correctly.
